PLEASE READ BELOW:

NEW RULE: In order to play the OLBG Thursday Night Poker tournaments, you must first be a registered OLBG member, you are not allowed to join the tournaments until you are a registered member of OLBG. Anyone found to be listed as registered for the current tournament without having registered with OLBG first will be removed from the tournament immediately

Distribution of the password to non OLBG members is not allowed and will effect your ability to join future tournaments.

TO ALL 1ST TIME PLAYERS:

I must demand that you post your Ladbrokes Poker screen name on the latest thread in the OLBG Poker Nights Forum before buying into your first tournament.

I cannot stress this enough. Failure to comply with this reasonable request will effect your ability to join future tournaments.

Hello, to the OLBG community. Well done to Gruffe, our new champion who took home $45, 2nd place went to Gooner recieving $27 and 3rd place went to Fozy paying $18.

Start Time: Every Thursday, 8:35pm
Game Type: No Limit Texas Holdem
Tournament Type: Multi Table Tournament
Tournament Name: OLBG Thursday Night Poker

Max Players: 200
Buy in: $5 +$.5
Prize Pool: Increases as people join

PRIZE PAYOUT:
This is determined by how many people enter:

1-30 people = 1st-3rd share money
31-50 people = 1st-5th
51-150 people = 1st-10th
151-200 people = 1st-20th

HOW DO I JOIN?:

To join in you must first have a real money Ladbrokes Poker account. It's very easy to set up:

Just click here - Ladbrokes
Click the "Poker" button and then click on the "Download Now" button
Once Downloaded, double click the "Setup_LadbrokesPoker.exe" file and follow the on screen instructions
The rest is straight forward.
(Have credit/debit card details ready)

WHERE CAN I FIND THE TOURNAMENT?:

Once logged into Ladbrokes Poker, simply click the "PRIVATE" tab, then select "Multi Table Tournaments" and look for the table named "OLBG Thursday Night Poker", you will need $5.50 to enter.

CAN WE HELP?

All I would ask:

Once you buy in, post a reply on this thread stating your Ladbrokes Poker name.
I will collect them up, and add them to the "OLBG List of Players" thread.

18 superheroes graced the felt that is OLBG Poker in search of a good time and a good time was had by all; we welcomed new member Poohbear into our club and based on last night it looks like we have recruited another little gem of a player, the only downturn last night was Bristol equalising typically late in the Palace game...some things never change!

Congrats to Gruffe for winning last nights main event, the 2007 champion looks like he's back in the groove having now accumulated enough points to break into the top 6, he now sits poised to strike and nothing less than a bold showing is expected in the months to come, watch this space! Nicely done Gruffe Cool

It certainly was a family affair at the business end of the tourney with Gooner Stu battling hard on the felt for the Gruffe clan, heads up play saw plenty of fireworks with the chip lead changing hands on numerous occasions, it certainly was a spectacle! The 8 points earned last night take the Gooner collective back to the top of the leaderboard is style. Top notch effort Gooner Win

Fozy scooped up the remainder of the spoils with a sterling effort that breaks him into the top 10 on the leaderboard, I feel with performances like last night he's a good thing to grab his first OLBG Poker title very shortly and I for one will be backing him at BetWoody until he does so, now that's a punt even Pricewise would be proud of! Superb play Fozy Win

I am going to take a break from playing poker online for a month or two, I may join the odd one to catch up with you lot in a few weeks or something. The main reason is because i'll be quite busy for the next few months.

I might play Thursday night depending on how things go.

Well done to everyone and the winners last night who came in the top 3, I took an early exit along with a few others. Crying or Very sad
