NEW RULE: In order to play the OLBG Thursday Night Poker tournaments, you must first be a registered OLBG member, you are not allowed to join the tournaments until you are a registered member of OLBG. Anyone found to be listed as registered for the current tournament without having registered with OLBG first will be removed from the tournament immediately

Distribution of the password to non OLBG members is not allowed and will effect your ability to join future tournaments.

TO ALL 1ST TIME PLAYERS:

I must demand that you post your Ladbrokes Poker screen name on the latest thread in the OLBG Poker Nights Forum before buying into your first tournament.

I cannot stress this enough. Failure to comply with this reasonable request will effect your ability to join future tournaments.


Hello, to the OLBG community. Well done to Gutshot, our new champion who took home $45, 2nd place went to me recieving $27 and 3rd place went to Fozy paying $18.

Tournament Type: Multi Table Tournament

Buy in: $5 +$.5
Prize Pool: Increases as people join

PRIZE PAYOUT:
This is determined by how many people enter:

1-30 people = 1st-3rd share money
31-50 people = 1st-5th
51-150 people = 1st-10th
151-200 people = 1st-20th



HOW DO I JOIN?:

To join in you must first have a real money Ladbrokes Poker account. It's very easy to set up:

Just click here - Ladbrokes
Click the "Poker" button and then click on the "Download Now" button
Once Downloaded, double click the "Setup_LadbrokesPoker.exe" file and follow the on screen instructions
The rest is straight forward.
(Have credit/debit card details ready)


WHERE CAN I FIND THE TOURNAMENT?:

Once logged into Ladbrokes Poker, simply click the "PRIVATE" tab, then select "Multi Table Tournaments" and look for the table named "OLBG Thursday Night Poker", you will need $5.50 to enter.

All I would ask:

Once you buy in, post a reply on this thread stating your Ladbrokes Poker name.
I will collect them up, and add them to the "OLBG List of Players" thread.

18 superheroes turned off their telly in favour of some excitement with the boys and girls at OLBG Poker, at one point they were dropping like flies but the business end turned into a marathon.

The marathon format suited Gutshot well as he slowly ground his opposition into the ground, he played much the best poker throughout the night with a tight early game and then a nice change of gears as the action became shorthanded, he now sits in 6th place having played less than half the games this year and having won 2 main events in the process, it just goes to show that this superhero is still a force to be reckoned with. Superb play Gutsy

I managed to get heads up with the eventual winner, I like to think I gave him a run for his money in heads up play, but it turns out he was just toiling with me, waiting for his spot to pounce! It was a mammoth heads up and deserved the best player on the night winning it, and that he did.

Fozy is becoming a cashing specialist, it seems as though he's always in the money and whenever he plays there's only 2 places for the rest of us to fight for, last night he yet again used his game to devastating effect, playing solidly throughout and then holding his won in the latter stages; he is the highest placed superhero to not have won a main event this year, but sitting in 4th place with more points than multiple 2008 title winners, it's surely only a matter of time before we get the pleasure of congratulating him on his first main event win. Top notch play Fozy

You are totally selling yourself short though "toying with you indeed"! If only that was the case, you played excellently all night especially when we made it to the final 7 and you were placed 7th with about 1000 chips only. Your short stack play then and a few times heads up was excellent. You just refused to die .

Congrats to Fozy on his 3rd. As Woody said I've not been able to play as often as I like but when I do this superhero always seems to amass a big stack and cruises in to the money. Definitely a 1st of many OLBG titles is just aroung the corner.

Thanks again Woody for your kind words and well played to you and Gutshot. Sorry to everyone for not responding again but for some reason I keep loosing chat when I get to the final table. Have tried to sort it with Laddies but they can't seem to give me an answer. Have only been playing on the 3D version because I've had a bit of eye trouble and I can get it on full screen, will have to go back to normal version or you'll all think I'm ignorant,
