A casual turnout for a Monday night with 13 superheroes sober enough to register for the main event, I imagine this means plenty of our crew are secret Man Utd fans and are still recovering from beating Arsenal at home to secure this seasons Premiership title. It could be a coinidence, but all the gooners did'nt turn up either, I wonder what they were celebrating for?
Congrats to Hollywood for winning last nights main event, this is his 3rd win of the year and it moves him 10 points closer to yours truly; it's very early days right now though, but a pack, lead by last nights winner, is definitely emerging and Hollywood ,as per usual, is putting his best foot forward and doing the Charleston all over the opposition. This superhero is a serious threat whenever he plays, his recent record speaks volumes. Top notch play Holly
Rounder played an impressive game to secure 2nd spot, he played solidly the whole night through and opened up his gears with great control and aggression once it got to the business end of the tourney, he sits cosily in 5th place on the leaderboard amidst his fellow sharks, Betwoody have him down as a dark horse for this years title so don't be surprised if you notice him leapfrogging his way to victory in the latter stages of this marathon contest. Superb play Rounder
Gutshot employed his tight aggressive style to perfection last night, he was well worthy of reward for such a sterling effort and the 2008 OLBG Poker leaderboard runner up can be expected to give a bold showing whenever he plays the main event. Nicely done Gutshot
Many thanks to all who played in the main event and after party and apologies I did'nt say goodnight, I kept dozing off!
The OLBG Poker leaderboard has been updated
Thursdays tournament is open for registration, support the cause! _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |

There are'nt any plans for a 5 card draw tournament Klipko, let's discuss it in the latest thread and if enough members show interest I'm sure we can work something out _________________ Don't worry, we've got Neil Warnock! |
