i still think this match will probably end a draw, but WI's and SA's prices have been completely muddled.

I've shifted my green to equal WI and draw, I think that 3/1 on SA is a joke - in a similar scenario elsewhere, we see India @ 33/1!

So value is definitely with WI although I can't help but feel that they've been in this position before and thrown it away.

no chance of a draw no i don't think titan.

I was heavily laying the draw today traded out a cople of times as well as backing and laying Windies a couple of times.

at the end of the day West Indies have a 359 run lead having scored just 146 runs for 8 wickets in their second inning.

Still a decent lead though, I'd imagine they will go back out tomorrow morning and let the tail finish up with some quick runs to try and get the lead to 400.

Weather doesn't seem to have caused an issue, play has gone on later than offical close each day and only the slight hold up on day 1. there's is now 2 days to see 12 wickets fall, 10 if Windies declare, or for South Africa to score somewhere between 360 and 400ish in not much less than 2 days play.

should be very interesting, West Indies could have been walking away with a comfortable lead but the loss of 4 big wickets for 4 runs means the score is definately atainable for the South Africans.

i've just happily greened out, having layed the draw at 2.5 i've backed it for a couple of quid at 14's! not much seperating the two sides now with West Indies slight favourites.

Difficult to say, West Indies bowled and fielded brilliantly in the first innings and if they can do that again the game will be there's especially with the pitch beginning to deteriate.

SA are begging to be layed at 2.24. History suggests the liklihood of them successfully chasing even what they trail by now is very slim. I expected to see them nearer 3 and even then I'd have still layed them.

If the Windies can get close to a 400 lead any early wicket would surely see SA go up to 4s.

I'm in for the West Indies win here. As chambta has said history is already stacked against South Africa and at 389 it will be the 4th highest successful run chase ever.

It's true that South Africa successfully chased down 340 to win against Australia in Durban in 2002 but they do not have a very good record at doing this at all.

They have only scored over 300 in the 4th innings of a test 5 times in their entire history that result in Durban was their only win out of the five.

Added to this no team has ever scored more than 300 in the last innings on this ground. South Africa's highest was 273 in a game they lost to New Zealand way back in 1962 and the highest ever successful chase at Port Elizabeth was Australia's 271 for 8 back in 1997.

We all know that you can't back the West Indies with much confidence at times but I think it's fair to say that they tend to implode with the bat in their hands rather than with the ball.

I think the odds about at the moment are very generous and I'm up for the 1.96 you can get about the West Indies.

Good luck! Fingers Crossed
