2 days left, Aus 50 runs behind. Don't understand why India aren't 2nd favourites here.
I actually managed to stay up until tea in the end, wish i'd stayed up until close of play! 500+ was never on the cards!
However, Australia chasing a record number of consecutive test wins and so will be playing aggressively (probably in vain) to score 350+ in the day and leave India a total of 350 odd to chase on the final day.
Aussies don't play for draws (esp not this team) but i think that judging by how much spin Brad Hogg managed yesterday, Harbhajan might be able to get a few more wickets and I think that Australia will be bowled out on day 4. _________________ Corner vulture

think this should end a draw, might have a cheeky back of india if they're up against a chaseable target. dont think aus will win this so i'll also look to Lay them at 4 or below. _________________ Corner vulture

Jeez.
After a few quick wickets fall, the draw is now 4/6 with Australia being 13/8 - so I'm so glad I waited up because I still think it will be a draw and those are decent prices. |

Symonds got Dravid out controversially didnt he? Can anyone tell me what happened?
Great win for the Aussies though, Michael Clarke is a legend and now my favorite Cricket player _________________ China Open 2008 Snooker Challenge Runner Up |

i knew i shouldnt have packed it in just before tea! apparently the draw touched 1.02 before clarke got 3 in an over. quite miraculous stuff really, fancied there to be plenty of twists and turns, but this was quite amazing.
Having said that, given just how close the game was, I think that an Aussie win wouldnt have happened if the umpiring wasnt just so poor.
All the same, quite astonishing how India managed 500+ and a first innings lead, yet still managed to lose!
Incredible article here at cricinfo: http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/ausvind/content/current/story/329405.html
Just highlights the ill-feeling here, fair play and everything to Australia for achieving something incredible, but you can't help but get an overwhelming sense of arrogance here.
Don't think India will win in Perth, but fancy them to end Australia's winning run in the dead rubber at Adelaide. _________________ Corner vulture

wow, I thought i'd done my money in that one, just had a bet on Australia win at the start but it looked like it was heading for the draw, impressive ending after both teams put in very good batting performances.
just a shame it's on in the dead of night as I'd loved to have watched that one rather than the South Africa v West Indies game. |

I had taken india at 9/1 and Ausssies at 5/1, So needed a win, to me the idia lost it.
If they had gone for the win, they would of won it. but instead they went for the draw.
I went to bed with half a hour to go, thinging i had lost it, i could not believe it when i found out the Ausssies had won .
Great match. |

I breathed a bit of a sigh of relief I got out of that one alive. I had switched positions from aussies to draw and had traded it down. I laid off at 1.03 for a good profit, only slightly less than my profit on aussie win. I had an inkling that aussies would win, even late on but my brain wasnt working efficiently after having been up all nite so didnt really act on it. Couldve been caught out there big time, thank my lucky stars I wasnt. I would guess a lot of people got fairly close to wipeout on that one.
Think the aussies have come out of that game with their reputations tarnished (despite the amazing ending). The umpires certainly have and neither of those two should get given another international. Never had a massive amount of faith in either of them. Its astonishing that there are only 2 or 3 decent umpires in the world. _________________ Positions now available in OLBG Lottery syndicate. 28 lines in each draw dramatically increases chances of a jackpot.
