good start by WI, 5/0 off 3.1
if the RRR is above 6 early on, I can't see SA sustaining it for 50 overs. Tough pitch to score on, SA got plenty of bounce towards the end of WI's innings.
I shall be scalping as much as possible, every run counts!
have layed at 1.6 as I think the momentum is fully with WI _________________ Corner vulture

as I feared, 4 boundaries and the price goes from 1.69 to 1.38
key here is to limit any red on SA I suppose, although it's easier said than done. _________________ Corner vulture

interesting if WI can slow things down, but they're far too profligate really.
104/2 off 18, gibbs struggling along...smith was the big wicket.
really need the the RR to climb back to 6 and then someone to do something rash. _________________ Corner vulture

switched to SA now, need 131 from 26, small green on either side.
think it'll be close but bravo needs to get some more wickets. _________________ Corner vulture

SA made hard work of that after such a good opening but it took West Indies way too long to get the 4th wickt.
Big loss for me from some silly betting after Windies good bowling start |

hmm was an interesting game in terms of odds, really needed to hold onto the catch of Graeme Smith in the first over, then we'd have had a decent contest.
I wasn't looking so smart after laying SA at 1.6, took an awful lot of trading just to get back level. All the same, my tactic was pretty simple in the end...just pile into SA any time they lost a wicket, as their odds always came in once the new batsman got off the mark.
as i said before, even though if we think West Indies should be considerably lower, the market will never allow it, and so if you Lay SA, try not to leave too much red on them for too long....even if that doesnt make sense! _________________ Corner vulture

overall i think we need to think about cricket trading more in terms of a 'system'...dip seems to be doing very well by saying pre-match 'back team A at 1.9, Lay at 1.5' etc. _________________ Corner vulture
