Not long to go before this hits our screens. Who do you think is a good price??
My two couples against the field are
Letitia Dean and Darren Bennett - fancy the BBC audience may get behind this poular ex Eastender and the acting school background should put her in with a good chance.
Kelly Brook and Brendan Cole - he takes this so so seriously, is very popular and this time has a very popular partner..

For me Penny Lancaster and Ian Waite at 16/1 with Stan James looks a good price as well as Gabby Logan and her partner James Jordan who if memory serves me are about 9/1.
Any woman who can get her leg up as high as Gaby Logan showed on Saturday gets my vote _________________ Italian Old Master - Read the Kankeano v. Zagreb head 2 head Blog. The ONLY derby clash for season 2007/08!

Last night I saw they were doing 'in-play' for Strictly Come Dancing! Never watched the show, but amazing how the odds dropped/increase after each dance. Kate Garraway was favourite to go @ 1.66, dropped even further after other dances.

With East Enders being such a popular programme surely matt at 4/1 with Bet 365 is a good bet, east enders cast members have a good record in this comp. i would definitely Lay ( ooh no vicar) Kelly brook woman will not vote for her.

After seeing the contestants for a few weeks now for me it has to be Aleesha Dixon and Matthew Cutler to win.
Kelly Brook as Nors said will not get votes in a head to head fight (that i`d like to see ) as she comes across as about as genuine as a nine bob note! _________________ Italian Old Master - Read the Kankeano v. Zagreb head 2 head Blog. The ONLY derby clash for season 2007/08!

Matt is 9/2 and Gethin 6/1 they look good value to me if favourite Alesha is to be beaten.

Have to agree Nors and at the moment my idea of the final 3 would be Alesha, Kelly and Gethin just ahead of Matt.
However i think a lot of the fun has gone now that Kate and Anton have gone, Personally i would have liked to have seen Kenny go as in my opinion at least Kate has attempted to dance all Kenny has done is walk aggressively to every dance (which he has done well ). _________________ Italian Old Master - Read the Kankeano v. | matt biggest price at 9/4 with William Hill wont be around long though. Surely more women watch than men could tip the balance. |

I cannot see Alesha losing unless Matt messes up again and then the "mothers sympathy vote" will kick in.
Although i would agree the ladies are more likely to vote then us gents, i feel Alesha has an alround appeal with her great personality.
I hope she wins as it is about time someone wins a competition that they deserve too, (yes i did back Rhydian in the X Factor!) _________________ Italian Old Master - Read the Kankeano v. Zagreb head 2 head Blog. The ONLY derby clash for season 2007/08!

I do think there is money to be made in these markets especially when taking sentiment into account, whether that is right or not is another matter but we are not betting on what is right but what the outcome will be. Rhydian should have won x factor and aleesha should win scd but he didnt and she may not.

i know very little about this market, but if Rhydian/Lewis Hamilton have taught us anything, it's that laying odds-on favourites has got to be worth a punt.
Matt seems to be the underdog considering Alesha was in fact professionally trained.
As I said, I don't know much about this so won't get too heavily involved - don't want another repeat of the Same Difference debacle! _________________ Corner vulture
