With the timing of the fight and the "on the night phone poll" method of voting it didn't take long for the even money odds on Hatton in the w/o Hamilton market to be snapped up. Corals were last broken today. Very solid bet. In this market you'd expect to win even if Hatton loses the fight as long as he fought well and made the fans proud.
Not tempted by the 3.75 outright but wish you all well with it if your on. I do like the thinking with the trading angle though |

Titan, I hope he dont win it. I wanted Hatton but sadly that aint gonna happen now. Surely only Calzaghe deserves to be crowned. _________________ Dont look up, Look down, theres always someone worse off than yourself..

didnt manage to back calzaghe, surprised he won - ironically, the 'surprise' comes from the fact that i reckon he deserved it!
only managed a small Lay of hamilton but quite pleased with the small dabble in the market.
i think that this proves that when telephone votes are involved, odds-on shots are always worth a Lay - next target has surely got to be rhydian. _________________ Corner vulture

As mentioend earlier, I took Calzaghe in both markets and was happy to let them run. My previous bet of Dettori without Hamilton obviously was laughable though
But once Calzaghe's dad won the coach award, I was confident Joe would get the win |

I was bit shocked tonight how shoddy the show was seen it a few in the past with the live link-ups messages and little emotional video clips but tonight just thought it didnt run that well
funny point being lennox lewis left hanging with a high 5 from calzaghe (how embarrassing)
the cheesy strictly come dancing perfomance will they ever stop plugging that show its ever where
what was the point in the world superbike champion riding 10 metres down a ramp only to get off and some bloke push the bike away
and i know it was live but the long delays in scipt wasn't to clever
highlight obviously calzaghe scooping top honour deserves it and the bobby robson speech was quite funny but was waiting for his slip up as he is getting on a bit now and has come out with some daft and forgetful sayings in the past
unlucky for lewis hamilton should defiently be regonized for an outstanding first year _________________ 3rd in Copa America Comp

| I'm glad Calzaghe won, it would have been a joke if they'd given it to Hamilton, a LOSER, as opposed to a consistent winner of the past 10 years. |

Yeah, nice to see Calzaghe win at last. Unbeaten for 17 years, what a record. Did anyone notice Ricky's speech, been on the beer me thinks, and he deserves a few to be fair
The best bit of the show for me was Bobby Robson, a real football man who is liked by all, Well done Bobby GET WELL SOON !!! _________________ Dont look up, Look down, theres always someone worse off than yourself..
