| Aberdeen looks the favourite to have a flurry of snow on its granite buildings this year, i am sure we must have someone who lives in Aberdeen who can keep us up to date with local conditions. |

i've been fancying a bet on snow on christmas day since early on the year.
Given the crazy globably warmed weather we've been having recently, bizare weather paterns, how weather in winter, cold weather in summer, huge storms, major floods etc i just fancied that it might be cold enough for some snow for once this year!
having just come back from Thailand i'd certainly say it's freezing in the UK!!!
I want to go back! |

If they moved xmas day to the end of January maybe ther'd be a better chance?. I can't remember a proper snowfall in London for yrs.

I make this comment every year on here but as the site has grown so much its probably worth repeating.
A few years ago the payout on this market was irritatingly slow (over a week late) as they had to await UK Met Office confirmation before payout. If your playing in this market expecting to be paid out the next day you may be in for a surprise.

Has anyone bet on this or does anyone bet on it every year?
A few years back a mate of mine had a fiver on snow on christmas day and gave it to his brother as a Christmas present!
Could save me doing that last minute Christmas shopping on Christmas Eve....
Although Im not sure the missus will appreciate it. |

| Looks to me like London won't get any snow this xmas. The closest you'll get is if you stick your head in the freezer (not a frost-free one though). |

Does snow indoors count ? Because there will be plenty of the white stuff round Amy Winehouse's London home on Xmas Day. Her Uncle Charlie is the snowman ..." We're floating in the air" _________________ Eng Prem Scorecast Champion 06/07 |
