$500 Friendly Knock Out Comp

Ive talked Play65 into running a friendly backgammon comp for us.

Thought it would be a great way for us to learn how to play online backgammon. They have even agreed to throw in $500 of prizes for us!!

The OLBG Backgammon Cup will take place at 8.30 on Wednesday 23rd November at Play65.

If you dont know how to play backgammon - dont worry - thats the idea -

To qualify for the comp you need to register with Play65 through a link on OLBG like this one >>>Play65

You can register now but you wont be able to enroll for the actual comp until 23rd November.

If you want to practice before hand you can do so for free at Play65. They even have a backgammon school!

Ill try and give this a go. I've played off and on at Play65 for 6 months or so....Ive wn about 6 games...and lost about 30 . I think I'm £20 down (maybe £30 )...and you will see from my "grade"that I am below beginner level Embarassed

I dont feel that I am a beginner..but unfortunately , the results dont lie !
Anyway...if I can register...?

Great Buzzer, sure Grobler most welcome.

Look forward to it - its not about how good you are - or even if you can play at all!!

Its just about having a good evening, seeing if people enjoy online backgammon and sharing out that $500.

Looks like four of us so far - so thats the semi finals sorted!!

But there's prizes down to eighth place! Very Happy

How do we keep non OLBG members out ? Is there a password ?

Thats right Grobler -you can enroll on Wednesday.

There is no password system availabe. However the comp is not being promoted anywhere but here -so hopefully the $500 will be shared amongst friends.
