A shoot out of the 10-1 teams on Thursday, it will be close but i think the vote just goes to Dallas by virtue of having home field advantage:-
Dallas to win by 3
also
Redskins -5pts
Broncos -3pts
Panthers -3pts
All 3 to cover the spread. _________________ Beware......Potatoes Will Rule The World Eventually!! |

Dallas- Green Bay:
Dallas have started all their games off slowly so far this seson and with the handicap of +7 to Green Bay the half- time handicap of +4 for Green Bay (Paddy Power 5-6) is looking a great bet in what looks to be very tight contest.
I think if Dallas get the running game going thats where they can exploit Greeen Bay and win therefore I believe it will be tight. There will be quite a few turnovers with Brett Favre liking to throw big ones down field under pressure. Not a lot of fluency and topsy-turvy.
Selection: Half-time Handicap- Green Bay +4 (5-6 Paddy Power)
Total points: Under 51.5 points 10-11 general |

01:15 GB Packers @ DAL Cowboys
GB Packers+0.0 (Money Line) @ 3.6
Favres 38 and playing his best football reeling back the years. Main reason behind this is his choice of passing in which he has two excellent wide receivers to choose from and also has the rush option with Grant. Cowboys are good but can be broken down and are vunerable to the longer passes. Packers are just too good value here despite been 0-8 in dallas under favre. _________________ Check out my Euro 2008 preview

This is just a query really. Does this bet :
Hcap Tie - GB Packers +7.0 @ 12.00
Mean that if the Packers lose by exactly 7pts the bet wins? _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. We get bigger, we get taller, we get older. But, for the most part, we're still a bunch of kids, running around the playground, trying desperately to fit in." |

manafana, would you suggest a bet on Grant rushing under 70.5yrds against the Cowboys tonight? The Packers have the worst rushing record in the NFC, and Dallas have the 2nd best in terms of defense against Rushing. Surely it seems logical that Grant will struggle to make the yardage, conditions are good, not much wind, so surely teams will prefer to throw for yards rather than rushing as there won't be much effect from the weather on the receivers in terms of running, and the throw in terms of wind. Dallas have been solid at defending and I think that they could do the job here in holding back the rushes, but in terms of holding back passes, it could be very difficult.
Over 45.5 passes in total looks a great price @ 4/5, especially if Favre can find the form he had last week again _________________ Top Football Tipster June 2006

to answer your question spider if the game finishes with dallas winning by 7 points and you took the bet of green bay +7 then your stake is refunded. The same happens if you take dallas -7 and they win by 7 points. Hope that helps |

i like the passing bet more than the grant bet. What cannot be forgotten is that early on in the season, Green Bay did not have a consistent running back, they were switching it almost every time they game on the field. They have found a runner in Grant who does well in their system. He ran for a big game against the Vikings (yes the only team better against the run than dallas). To counter Williams' awful pass defense, Dallas will drop more men back into coverage as Favre does throw picks quite regularly. Thus, there will be room for grant to run, he may not get alot of carries, but expect him to have a high yards per attempt. I can see him carying the ball for more than 70 yards tonigh
Green Bay win this football game to me, Dallas Secondary is not good enough....even the Redskins passed their way down the field, made Campbell look like Brady.
Selection: GREEN BAY to win |

St Louis -3 vs Atlanta
The rams have turned the corner now key players are healthy
Kansas City +6 vs San Diego
Chargers coach turner is 0-6 vs the chiefs. Did he learn from week 4?
Cleveland + 1 vs Arizona
The cards have a poor pass defense - should be a high scoring game
Thats my Betfred treble - good luck to all |

21:05 DEN Broncos @ OAK Raiders
DEN Broncos-3.5 (Point Spread) @ 1.92
Broncos where 14pts ahead of Bears last week before folding im expecting to see the broncos at their best tonight and theirs no deven hester to worry about so broncos should be solid here. Cutlers playing well threw 300yds despite poor start last week and raiders will struggle to contain broncos. _________________ Check out my Euro 2008 preview
