Ive been impressed with some of the excellent contributions on the NFL threads in the past couple of weeks and particularly the way people are reading each other posts and adding/commenting to really increase everyones understanding.
So I thought it might be fun to have a bit of a challenge for this where we all work together to try to make some money for a charity.
Heres what I have in mind.
We have the following funds to bet & any proceeds go into the charity pot. At the end we discuss a suitable charity.
We limit ourselves to finding one £100 bet on each game this week and 2 bets on each game in the other weeks.
SEA @ GB - £100 single
NYG @ DAL - £100 single
JAC @ NW - £100 single
SD @ IND - £100 single
Total £400
Conf Finals - two £100 single bets on each game
Total £400
Superbowl - two £100 single bets
Total £200
Its up to us to come to a conclusion on each bet through discussion and voting.
Let me know if you are up for it and I'll set up some match threads and get things going |

Brilliant idea ANT,
gives me a good reason to get involved in the discussions, Really enjoy my NFL and an avid watcher, but havent got involved here as my knowledge is pretty much rules, watch and enjoy. Not reading too much into form and looking at the sport as a betting medium. Certainl by keeping track of discussions not only will the site be able to contribut further to charity, but i and others can increas their knowledge on the sport

Have been watching a lot of NFL this season, really getting into American sports (except for Ice Hockey), will definately be contributing my thoughts towards this scheme

This is a great idea and a brilliant opportunity for us at OLBG to contribute some money to a charity, and I am sure with all of our NFL knowledge we can make a decent profit

Dont forget its not like the OLBG v Bookies premiership think - here we get ONE BET PER MATCH (or 2 bets per match from next week) |

| antony is there any way you can put up one of them announcment notices about this little comp, maybe we can get some of the regulars in before the weekend if they see a notice about it, it might help get some more imput?. |
