Ant - your suggestion about the Bet365 alternative market at -7 is definitely the correct choice (memo to me - investigate all options).
What happens to the charity pool if the Packers win by 7? |

Good selections to choose from, however I've gotta go with the following.
Over 39.5
This will most likely turn into a TD exchange shootout, however whilst the Giants will try and push the pass rush.. I just cant see the Packers struggling to contain them when needed for the win. Hitting this take 20pts per half. and unless the weather really hits ..its going to be open (more one sided to GB) to snow points
2nd choice falls on.... Green Bay -7
Whilst the ML is tempting, there's little point at the price..GB are gonna win this and as mentioned before, NYG games are avg 23 pts per game and GB 27. Home field advantage, Favre and co wont have it easy, you dont get to this stage and have a easy game!
yet nyg have won just once in the last 4 games against GB and that wont change. will be a great highscore gaming, but GB to win it by at least 9-10 pts _________________ OLBG Member: 189 |

| If we back Packers-7 and they win by exactly 7 then our bet will be a push (stake returned) as its a 2-way handicap not 3 way that Im referring to |

Ive done £100 Packers-7 at 5/6 as our 1st bet
as it looks to be the most popular and I dont want the spread to move further!
I'll keep the voting open for the second bet on this game for a bit longer to see if we can identify a popular 2nd choice |

Good idea getting the -7, the line with the public money will most likely move 1/2 or 1 point before the game..

Quite like the over 39.5 here, ive put the line around 44 so think this is quite good value.
Both teams have plenty of points in them and i really think NYG are going to struggle to contain the Packers offence. NYG offence are good for a few TD as well so this is a very good value bet.
With a lot on the line people tend to make mistakes or shut up shop, I personally think this could be a game of intereceptions and turnovers with quick scoring advances in between.

The cold cold weather will really suit the packers....
Another stat which I had to double check:
Brett Favre has won 43 games from 48 at Green Bay when the gametime temperature is 34 degrees or colder

Second bet is Over 41 @ 10/11
Unfortunately the spread has moved against us by 1.5pts but rather than take 1.7 for Over 39.5 I though better to keep the odds as we're still under 6 touchdowns. Hopefully we wont get exactly 40 points in the game! |
