* Please post all tips for the rest of the NBA season in this thread.

* This thread will be used as a chat thread aswell so feel free to post any comments you have on the games in here.

Thought I'd set this up as the playoffs are well underway at this stage but the last few days have still been very quiet here. I tend to forget about this part of the forum and haven't posted any tips in here for a while but have made quite a few in the comp and have watched the majority of games so far aswell.

So if anyone wants to post tips or has any thoughts/comments to make on the games then feel free to post in here. Let's get a bit of action in this part of the forum over the next few weeks. Win

Play-offs have been though for me but here goes

01:00 NO Hornets @ DAL Mavericks
NO Hornets+0.0 (Money Line) @ 3.2
The hornets are 2-0 coming up v mavericks here. They havnt contained paul, they have tried but the hornets have found a way round it. They may not have a great bench but the hornets starting five looks rock solid, this will be though but i could see the hornets edging this, so now wait and see mavericks hammer hornets.

I like overs in both Mavericks and Suns match, I have sided with pistons and spurs in other matchs.

Im quite a dedicated Lakers fan and have been for a number of years and i feel they have all it takes to win this year, Kobe seems to be firing big time and with him anything is possible. 49 points last game, just hope he hasnt peaked too soon.

Spot on at end deco, suns have throw it away, and spurs saved my bacon last night, they just have that play-off predrfree duncan nails his first 3 of seaon other night to force overtime.
But on matter of kobe hes got nothing on le bron, i cant say kobe lift others to his level he just plays his game, le bron was one assist off a thriple double in game 2, hes so much more than kobe.

Its not a very confident bet, but id expect better from magic tonight the line is about right, but this will be alot closer than last game where raptors shoot just dropped every time for them. The Magic look a discipline side they gave away 21 fouls resulting in just 14 free throw attempts for raptors. Magic will have got some needed rest, and their 3 pt shooting is bound to pick up tonight so il have a small bet magic to win 13/10 with Boylesports.

Anyone reading please add some thoughts to the nba

18:00 CLE Cavaliers @ WAS Wizards
WAS Wizards-4.0 (Point Spread) @ 1.9
Got to be wizards for me here, they turned things around in washington and gave cavaliers their backsides in what was an amazging turn around, they gave up roughing le bron and just two manned him preventing him driving for the basket and picking up easy fouls. It worked and it also stopped le bron team mates, i dont expect it to work as well tonight but considering arenas played just 10mins the wizards where on than effective, and from the free throw line they punished clevland who where poor from the line friday night. Cavs are struggling in power forward postion with wallace looking a horrible trade, also for you fact geeks clevland are 3-10 on road since those trades, the only one of any importance was a conteversial 1pt win over 76ers which i watched and felt they didnt deserve to win. Clevlands poor 3pt shooting came to light again in last game i wouldnt expect as bad tonight but its still cause for concern with wizards likely to make them outside shoot because it worked last game so why would they change. Anyway -4 for me is fair enough and i fancy this series go all the way now wizards have some control over what le bron can do.

tonigts came has seen a reverse of shooting the cavs r hitting their 3's tonight, and their free throw shooting has also been much better.

The suns did not like getting messed about at home last time, the spurs tactics where spot on, they fouled shaq all night and put him to the line while only giving out a max 2 fouls to rest of side, im sure suns will be be able to counter this tonight and at least take this to a 5th game.

Just settling down now after a night out so going to relax and watch the Mavs/Hornets game with a few beers. Very Happy

New Orleans (+4.5) * Nowitzki was superb in game 3 and was the reason the Mavs won that game but I can't help but feel he'll be kept a lot quieter tonight and reckon the Hornets will take this one. The stats are all against New Orleans but then again they are there to be broken. Having said that I'll be taking the spread just in case as security as it seems pretty generous.

I expected Nuggets to give lakers a fight, but the auld do iversen and anthony really work question has probably been answered, iversen cant play defense forgive him his size, while anthony seems to be busy on offense. Gasol has been key to lakers push here and although i dont fancy them to win this out if they finish this in 4games they will be well rested for the semis. Anthony was enraged with his team mates and things seem to be falling apart and would be though to raise spirits for this and -4 is fair.

not a big Basketball man but one tip for tonight

NO Hornets to beat DAL Mavericks @ 1.37

The Hornets got the split in Dallas which was a good return for them having won both matches in New Orleans. They are playing with bags of confidence at the moment and they are playing Basketball the right way, high energy, scoring plenty of points and also making it exceptionally hard for their opponents. The Mavs fate is pretty much sealed, they have struggled in this Postseason matchup and they struggled on the road in the regular season going 17-24, it will have to be something special for them to win tonight.
