Apoligises for the shorter write ups today not had much time.

00:05 DAL Mavericks @ NO Hornets
NO Hornets-7.0 (Point Spread) @ 1.9
Hornets can finish the series tonight and after a though time on their return to new orleans, finally they have made it a though place to go, and this Dallas side continues to struggle on the road when it counts. They took care of business in Game 4 despite Paul being quiet, i expect now back at home and i expect a big game from him tonight along with rest of hornets.

02:35 UTA Jazz @ HOU Rockets
UTA Jazz+0.0 (Money Line) @ 2.1
I dont think it really matters where this gets played, the jazz won both matches in houston, or more houston gave them the win, poor shooting from the line is costing them and its been the way all season. They have also had bother getting board with mutombo able for no more than 20mins. the 11/10 is well worth it as i see jazz asv slight favourites.

02:35 PHX Suns @ SA Spurs
PHX Suns+0.0 (Money Line) @ 2.9
Not a super confident selection but felt i had to put it up, suns impressed me with their game last time stoudemire wasnt even a key part of that so he could pick up the slack of others. Spurs did look tired in end and this will be tight so i just fancy suns.

HOUSTON ROCKETS (+0.0)
This series has been tight and if things had gone a little differently then the Rockets could be leading 3-1 going into tonights game - instead they are trailing by that margin and need to win to keep their season alive. The Jazzs weak point is the amount of fouls they give but so far (apart from Game 3 when they won) the Rockets havent capitalised on this and have been poor at the line. They practised with a free throw comp yet again yesterday and a bit more consistency at the line could make a huge difference to the outcome of the game. I expect it to be tight but back at home with their fans behind them I think the Rockets can make this one go to a 6th game - at least.

PHOENIX SUNS (+0.0)
Another series that could easily be 3-1 the other way as the Suns have blown big leads in two games. They stretched ahead last time aswell in game 4 but this time they held it and won by a comfortable 105-86 in Phoenix. They have to face the Spurs on their patch tonight but they won both games their during the regular season and this could turn out to be a very tight game. If the Suns can get the game to be played their way then they can get a result here in my opinion.

Jazz held to 32pts in the first half and the Rockets lead by 14 now almost halfway through the 3rd quarter.

Been watching the Spurs-Suns game though and the Suns are down by 9 at the half. Crying or Very sad

Difference between the teams? - Tony Parker has been superb scoring 20 while the Suns have missed 13 free throws - 9 of them by Shaq. Rolleyes (Sarcasm)

Should be a tight finish though... Fingers Crossed

EDIT: Jazz held to just 69 and Rockets win by a huge 26pts. Suns been superb in 2nd half - especially their defence - and now leading by 4 with 9mins to play.

that was mu fear with suns, spurs foul shaq and on the road shaq is a horrible free throw shooter, im telling if marrion was their doesnt matter about preserence this spurs side doesnt have edge of last year even then they could still win.
Hornets really should have covered for me, just took foot off pedal at end and lost out by a pt on handicap.

Pistons @ Sixers

Do like the Pistons on the road now to seal the deal agains the Sixers.. ..however selection wise tonight...In the four games played in Philadelphia this season, the teams have only averaged 176.5 points per game.

So certainly going with the Under here Win

picks for tonight

BOS Celtics -8.0 v ATL Hawks @ 1.94

Home advantage has been crucial in this series with all wins going the home teams way but I expect that trend to end tonight. The Celtics really outclassed the Hawks in Boston Wednesday night and pretty much everyone chipped in with points and if they can do that again tonight then it will be very hard to stop them. The Hawks are way behind the Celtics on paper but they have shown they can match them, but their performances have been at an extremely high level and I think they might fail to play as well tonight. Celtics can win by 8 or more.

HOU Rockets +7.5 v UTA Jazz @ 1.91

The Rockets are not out of this series yet and they will make the Utah Jazz work very hard tonight. The Rockets hammered the Jazz in the last match winning 95-69 in Houston and that performance showed that these guys are not to be messed with, they show a lot of heart on court and even though when they look down, they can bounce back and they may win this one. The Jazz posted a 37-4 home record in the regular season, but the Rockets were one of those 4 teams to win in Utah and with the incentive of home advantage if they win I expect the Rockets to put in a big performance tonight.

CLE Cavaliers+0.0 (Money Line) @ 2.4
Clevland cant finish it tonight i think le bron does carry this side and wizards do seem to have better players but they will be angry they lost by a pt last time, but now i think a big game from a team player and le bron could be enough to win this.

Jazz should finally get things over tonight, and dont be surpirsed if hawks take this to 7games they have been great in atlanta.

Hornets for me tonight the -3 is more than fiar considering how they took care off the Mavericks, lets be honest spurs got it easy with suns, they fouled shaq and it worked every night bar one which was night their weaknesses became apperent. Hornets have made their home a bit of a fortress and they have more energy than spurs, and their will be no foul shaq tactics available here.

Agree with your selection delca Cleveland +9.5

The main reason for this selections is that the Cavs have LeBron James the guy loves playing against the Celtics and has scored 30 or more in 9 straight matches against Boston which is a great record going in to such an important match. The Celtics do have the better team and there is no doubting that but if the Cleveland players can support LeBron and they find a way to stop Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen which will be difficult then they could have a shout in this postseason matchup. They were 2-2 in regular season and that has to be a confidence booster for Cleveland.
