Since this is the only American sport for the next 2 months, i will throw my picks on here for the summer.

I have gone silly and bet at least 10 wagers today but there are some i really............really like Win (fade me Cheeky)

MIN Twins @ STL Cardinals : Under 8.5 Win @ 2.00

First things first, this ump loves the under going 11-3 for it this year.
The h2h has a strong historic trend of the under and both pitchers are very consistent.
Add in the Cards poor hitting lately and this looks a very good bet.

CHI Cubs @ CHI White Sox : Under 8.5 Win @ 2.05

John Danks and Carlos Zambrano face up today in a potentially tight game that should see them controlling the game.

Both teams have been hitting the ball well but these two pitchers have whip below 1 and era's under 3 in their last 3 games each. Those are extraordinary figures and i feel they will both prevail to keep this low
scoring

DET Tigers @ HOU Astros : Under 8.5 Win @ 1.98

This honestly looks like a nailed on unders here.
From the quality of the pitching to the umpire trends, nothing suggests a slugfest.
The Umpire is 11-5-1 under this season.
Houston are under 6-1-1 in Astros last 8 home games.
Detroit is Under 21-9 in Tigers last 30 games vs. a right-handed starter.
Plus the pitchers are very good, with both having sub 3 era's

Good luck and those are my strongest plays that i feel are worth real money

The way i see it is that their are 4 basic outcomes, o/u and w/l

I pick the best out of the 4 options based on the matchup Win

Still trying to find an edge in the last games. Mets looked attractive but they seem to be drifting and I cant see why Confused

Cheers mate, had a cheeky Patent with those three, nice to see them come through. Well done. Glad someone is taking a bit of interest in the baseball.

I think most of use had given up on the baseball the last few weeks because of some mad results, including numerous "nightmares in the ninth", it was a surreal period of time where everything was getting gubbed late on, really frustrating!

Hopefully now we're back to normality lol

I hate high lines but Im sorely tempted to go over 10 in the Yankees/Mets game. Neither pitcher gives me any faith and if the Mets can finally manage some decent hits they should score a few, Yankees should too. Get the feeling this will either be less than 5, or more than 12 lol. Relies on the Mets scoring though, as except for scoring 11 against St Louis, theyve only scored 4 total in their last 4 Confused

Same thing applies to the Mets win/+1.5, if they can score, they can bring both bets home, but can they actually find some inspiration against a poor pitcher?
