Afew months to go yet, but as usual Brazil are clear favourites for the World Cup, as they should be. So the simple question for all is, who can beat them ???
There defence is getting on abit and can beaten, but as is the way for many of the Brazilian teams of the past, they will always concede. Trouble is they'll knock in treble that at the other end. So who's up for the job of of stopping them....Argentina, Italy......England at a stretch ??? _________________ Football is simple, but the hardest thing to do is play simple football. |

"Who can stop Arsenal?" was the question a couple of years ago.
I know its a different scenario but kinda the same
Basically, they are beatable.
The World Cup will be decided when England meet Brazil
Brazil are away to Russia on Wednesday, I've gone for the draw! _________________ Bad is never good until worse happens. |

My choice would be Mexico. They're a team which sit somewhere between South American and British styles of play and it seems to work well against the Brazilians. Of the past 5 meetings, Mexico have won 3 times, drawing once. For some reason they seem to thrive against the Samba boys. _________________ Signatures are for losers! |

A Spainish WC campaign always end in disaster... Unfortunately, i don't see that changing this summer..... but who knows... I'd go for argentina because they have both the capability and experience of playing against the brazillians (successfully) in the last 4 years...
mexico also sounds good rockin. |

it's difficult enough picking either goalscorer OR winning nation, now u have to get BOTH right?
i've better ways of blowing my money.
The team which can upset Brazil will be the one which:
1) can hold them to penalties, or
2) dare to attack Brazil and put their defence under pressure, or
3) are set piece specialists, or
4) have loads of luck.
Brazil will lose to one of the big names as they are more cautious in these games, i.e. when they cut down on their samba. Against other underdogs, they dare to play their own game as their opponents will be too overrawed by the Brazilians turns and tricks to play their own game. |

M.Baros & Czech 100/1
Could be a decent bet, they are a good spolid team and as Greece proved its not always the team with better players that win, sometimes too many individual stars make a poor team. |
