|

Ladies & Gentlemen, i have 21 x £5 Matched Bets from Ladbrokes for the world cup, scorecasts, bet in play, first goal, correct score etc.
..and i was thinking..
I would like to share them with you.
i dont have a Ladbrokes account and i have no disire to open one, i had 25 of these matched bets, gave 4 to a mate of mine, only 4 as the T&C's say its 4 per account max, it is, trust me i tried on my mates account.
im trying to think of a fair way of distributing them to the community, im not sure how many of you have Ladbrokes accounts, if its only a few it could be 3/4 each or if theres loads of you ill give one each etc.
if you want to express your ideas on a fair method for me to share on this thread before 12pm, then ill decide and then it will be first come first serve basis.
Cheers. |

i have a Ladbrokes account, if you decide you want to make some bets etc i could do my best to do them for you on my account and issue you any winnings via an alternative method....

That is very very thoughtful of you..
..however i am not looking for payment or any winnings etc from these bets.
im just giving something back to the community.
if you have a suggestion on how to share out the bets that would be great. |

It's very good of you Dave to consider others here.
What is a matched bet exactly in the context of Ladbrokes? The term matched bet only means something to me in Betfair jargon. |

For Example, if the matched bet you get is a correct score, you place £5 on 3-0 or so, if it wins, happy days, if not, dont worry you get a free £5 correct score bet win or lose to place on the same market.
hope this clears it up |

Thanks for the explanation Dave.
My suggestion would be to ask for names of people (by a certain date and time) that would be interested in receiving a matched bet. Once you have this list (and number) of people who are interested, you can then make a decision as to whether you just divide the bets out or need some other method (like 1st come 1st served).
Although if it was to be 1st come 1st served, then I suppose OLBGers should know about it in advance of notifying their interest |

sounds good swift, what i was originally thinking was :
whoever posts first etc gets x amount of the bets(share still not decided) untill the run out.
still open to ideas tho |

very generous of you Dave. I think the only fair way is first come first serve. _________________ "Once Everton has touched you, nothing will be the same" Alan Ball 1945-2007. RIP Bally |
