Maybe you might like to stop that from happening by voting for the second placed player Luis VALENCIA (ECU)

Vote here <http://fifaworldcup.yahoo.com/06/en/w/bypa/eligible.html>

You know it makes sense Wink

I would rather see a premiership player administering justice on the pitch with a late two footed challenge!

I don't go along with all this. Agreed Ronaldo shouldnt have got involved by going up to the ref but it's quite a leap in assumptions to go from that position to one where we are saying that Ronaldo got Rooney sent off.

Are we saying that the ref has no judgment of his own and listens to players before making his decison? Come off it.

I for one am not judging him solely on this. Its cos he is all that is bad about the game of football. Plus hes not even that good, people think he is cos he can do a few tricks.

I dont see anyone did saying the ref has no judgment, even tho it does appear he only acted when the Portugal players did their usual outrage.

The vote is for best young player. I think what we are saying is, Ronaldo doesn't deserve the award after the way he's behaved.

Exactly. This isn't about one incident it's about him not deserving the award full stop.
