Well done to all of those who backed Germany or Over 2.5 goals tonight.
I made a late decision to do a double on >2.5 for tonight and >2.0 for tomorrow night which will pay out @ 9/2 providing both the French & Italians bring their shooting boots _________________ FAC51 The Hacienda...back in the day, it's where it all started |

Congratulations to all those who recommended >2.5 goals - a case of better late than never.
Unfortunately for Portugal, by the time they decided to join the party, Germany had already drank the beer and made off with all the pretty women! _________________ Confidence in tips ranges from the most confident which is 5 stars to least which is 1.

I'm on Germany AH -1 @ 2.8, as they will want to prove their worth to the fans and Scolari has already said the match is rubbish!
Also on over 2.5 goals @ 4.1 - Hoping to Lay off after two goals in first 30 mins |
No chance to Lay off untill 80th when I could Lay off for guaranteed, but decided to risk it and Figo provided for me!!!
However I thought it was over at HT. After Germany went 2-0 up, just before their 3rd I stuck £100 on Germany next goal @ 2.5 on Bet365, literally a second before the ball went in the net... I think if i clicked submit a second later it wouldn't have gone through Chuffed to bits!!! |

Nice touch chillin'!
I was also resigned to the Overs not being achived tonight and nearly went for 'no 1st goalscorer' in-play just after half-time but fortunately dithered about too long thinking about it, by which time the Germans had taken the lead _________________ FAC51 The Hacienda...back in the day, it's where it all started |

Did anyone follow my advice on the spread betting page (http://www.online-betting-guide.co.uk/worldcup/spread_betting.php) to buy total goal minutes at 137? If u did u will be sitting on a nice pile of cash this morning, as the mark up was 283, so there was a lovely...
146 POINTS PROFIT!
(Would’ve been a helluva lot more if u read my advice earlier in tournament about buying total goal mins in Germany matches about the hour mark)
plus a further
13 points profit from buying total goals.
Over the forthcoming season I plan to post lots more spread tips, so if you havent got a spread account, its worth getting one. Sporting Index are market leaders, so click on them to open an account. Be sure to check that page regularly.
For the lucky ones amongst u who subscribe to my tipster alerts, you also had the correct 3-1 scoreline (available at over 20/1 some places) and a couple of overs bets winning too.
Up to 4th place on World Cup tipsters now. Such a shame I blew 3 grand on riskier bets on last day of June trying to win Junes tipster of the month otherwise I would be well ahead of everyone in the race for the £500 prize for the top World Cup tipster! Picked wrong selection (Ukraine +0.5 instead of Spain –0.5) when in a hurry one day, so that cost me £500! Another day I wanted to tip HT Draw – Germany FT but was too close to kick off to put tip thru, so that was another £3000 missed out. Add all that in and I would’ve made nearly £15000 on World Cup. We all have our hard luck stories!
Dunno whether to play it safe with tonights game or take a few risks to try to win the prize. If anyone fancies getting my tips sent to them, please set me up on alerts cos I quite fancy having a crack at the popular tipsters! I didn’t used to take the tipster competition seriously, but I have been recently. In fact I will guarantee a profit every single month for the rest of the year! |

Well done with the successful tips Dammo - I've taken your advice and just subscribed to your tipster alerts.
As regards the spread betting, I would just preach a word of caution to the uninitiated. I have had an account with Sporting Index for several years but found that it required a calmness and discipline that I don't have.
You do have the opportunity to win far more than conventional betting, but if it does go wrong, it can go wrong big time even with stop losses.
From my own experiences, spread betting can be very enjoyable and exciting but I would suggest you make completely sure what you are getting yourself into before you go further. _________________ Confidence in tips ranges from the most confident which is 5 stars to least which is 1.

Completely agree Stubble. Wise words. You do need to be disciplined, working out how much u can lose with each bet before u submit. Sporting Index do a low risk version of spread betting for beginners called BetHiLo. It tells you how much you can klose on each bet before u submit. Full details of how they work here...
