Right here it is.
I'm guessing some 250+ hours have gone into searching and reserching for this little baby. All that remains is to see the results going forward.
At best i expect a system researched over a 5-6 year period to remain static for it to be a viable opportunity. All to often you will find a winmula EDIT:(this word is not intentional but the result of a few too many gins tonight, but seems to fit the need as an abbreviation of winning formula) , in the early years, only to see it fall away to loss making in subsequent time period due to the natural "clocking on" factor. As seen with the latest WOLVERHAMPTON testing findings and the famous CHELTENHAM BUMPER system which used to be far more profitable than it is these days. (although in a profit period right now, (for 2007/2008).
This system has the following criteriA
Race Type: CHASE
Going: GOOD, GOOD TO SOFT, SOFT, HEAVY
Runners: MAX 12
Least previous runs under same code: NONE
Best Speed Rating: 2nd BEST OR BETTER
Best Handicap Rating: 2nd BEST OR BETTER
Efficiency at Same Course: 2nd BEST OR BETTER
Efficiency at Courses with same Direction of Orbit: 2nd BEST OR BETTER
At this point i will point out that i ran this system without the LEAST PPREVIOUS RUNS UNDER SAME CODE criteria, but as the results were so incredibly much better for the back fit, it had to be done. Other backfitting opportunities were available but not taken up in the name of sense and interest over the examined period.
Firstly i will present the yearly figures from 1st Jan 2002 onwards for you
UPDATED 20/12/07
2002 11-33 (33%) +12.18
2003 9-23 (39%) +12.69
2004 8-22 (36%) + 8.64
2005 5-31 (16%) +9.5
2006 15-46 (32%) +52.09
2007 8-27 (26%) -0.25
Results all Time: 56-182 (30%) +94.66
So there you have it apart from a blip thus far for 2007, fingers crossed for an upturn to positivity in the last 14 days in the month, we should have ourselves a nice little system we can rely upon for results
I shall, as when time constraints allow, update this thread with selections, and results as we go along into 2008
Happy punting all

Hi man o bong
Thanks for sharing this - very interesting
What speed ratings do you use? And how do you get the efficiency ratings - is this from raceform interactive or other source?
Cheers |

Hi Shark,
i am using DATAFORM VISUAL FORM BOOK and ANALYSER to research these systems. This is pretty much the best one i have come up with as yet. I thought i had a cracker last night. I leave it going pretty much 24/7 searching for the golden egg.
I woke at about 3am this morning, glanced over and was delighted to see an AW system showing +250pts through 2002-2004. I went back to sleep only to find that on its complettion sometime before 5.30am, the LSP had dropped to +26.45.
Unfortunatley as i am sure you are aware, this is fairly common place as if there is anything that regularly throws upa consistent profit, its latched onto, and the value goes out the window, and therefore the longer term returns.
I'm really looking for half a dozen system, which will provide 2-3 bets per month each, at around 30-40% SR. To a certain extent, they dont have to bring home tons of bacon, as long as there is "a bit of action" and regular winners.
I'll keep the forum updated on any further developments or nice looking angels as i find them _________________ 6 Months Horse Racing Blogs

Well the early 5/2 i bagged would have brought the system level pegging for 2007, but i am keeping this running at Sp's throughout
For the benefit of this thread however i will keep record, from today onwards seperatly.
So...
1-1 (100%) +2.25
That'll do nicely _________________ 6 Months Horse Racing Blogs

You knew I'd backed the 2nd which, as you posted on the horsie thread, was its only challenger.
Nice start - will certainly watch with interest. Don't forget to track the system using BF SPs as well, now that they are available - keeps it "real" |

We have out next qualifier for this system out on Wednesday 2nd Jan
AYR 1.10 LETHAM AIR
Its the oldest runner in the race at 10yrs, and returning from 228 off the track. In that respect there is a little doubt that maybe he needs a run when coming back from a Lay off. But does run consistantly well at this course with 7 outings from which no wins have come but 5 places have been achieved. This will be only the second outing at this distance. The last was at hexham back in May which he turned out winner in a class 4 intermediate chase. Both of his wins have come on ground that was good to firm, but has placed 7 times from 13 runs on the expected heavy going previously. Conditional James Revely sits atop for the first time today but claims a handy 5lbs at the top the weights in this handicap. One other thing of note is that Trainer Butt has yet to find a winner in 13 here at Ayr, but this will all push the price out a bit for a good value 12/1 id the RP tissue is anything near correct come the morning. _________________ 6 Months Horse Racing Blogs

Well, thAt was nearly a good one but third by a Distance was the best he could managE after leading til the 13th when jumping a bit dodgy, then the towel went in, to finish third but last of the three finishers, beating 4 runners higher in the market. The Average winning SP of all our successes here have been 4/1, so maybe asking a bit much for this one at 14's to score, just to note, the average losing SP is 15/2
no good for the system though as we are after winners only
