Nice one Andy
My three would be;
1. Don't
2. Do
3. Them
The bookies love them therefore the sensible folk on OLBG should hate them |

To win 3 x bets is extremely difficult. (even 1 bet is difficult most of the time!) You may win the odd one but over time you will definately be a loser. Even on dead certs from my experience there is always one freak result that ****s it all up!!
Doubles arn't as risky but obviously more likely to come off. I think they are severly stacked in the bookies favour though and should be avoided but if you do like doing them fair enough. Its worthwile throwing an away team in with two homes in the footie to boost your profits. You may get a good Saturday night out of it but you wont make any great profit long term!

absolutely, ever since ive joined the site, ive avoided accumulators like the plague
a while back in the prem there was 4 results i would have done in a accum
however i noticed, Liverpool were evens to beat Fulham
and i put 10 times my usual stake, on them, and it came in.
The 4 i picked 1 lost
I really feel that one larger stake bet can pay off in the long run |

Double DNBs on home teams are the way forward for me, usually get between 1.4 and 1.7 depending on what teams but the Brazilian, Swedish and Irish leagues nearly always throws up a good one every week or so. Big accas are a good laugh but only if you have money to throw away. Better off sticking the money on Torres 1st scorer at Anfield or as I loved last season Berbatov or Keane Insurebet 1st scorer. I'll miss that partnership more than the Spurs fans _________________ I wouldn't bother reading this as it's neither amusing or informative!! |

| Think of them as fun bets using minimum stakes and not a way of making money. |

On Saturday/Sunday i had a Goliath for 10p (£24.70) on the footy, it paid £547.17. i was enjoying it until the last game, when it became a bit more serious because, i was waiting on the result of the last game, Man U/Newc!
I will do the same bet this weekend, and every weekend, i will still have an interest, even if over half of my selections go down! |

Last Saturday threw up more than a few shocks.
I still reckon the trebles are worthwhile long term. As long as you stick to the home teams.
I find the Championship games these days offers better odds then Prem games. You can pick up consistent home performers the likes of Cardiff, Ipswich, Wolves or whoever in and around evens almost every time they play at home, whereas you are looking at big odds on for most of the Prem teams.
I swear to myself every week I'll stick to me guns, but usually end up sticking in say, Leeds at home to Oldham who lose 2-0. Not this weekend I won't! |

ROBBIE08, i had both LEEDS and FULHAM in another bet, i had 7 out of 9 come up on that bet, but i was shocked that Leeds lost at home, not even scoring! |

Yeah was a sickner alright. Might just play a cautious one next weekend, until the teams get a bit of momentum anyway.
Another golden rule for me is stick Marseille and Lyon into accum when they play at home cos they are bloody awesome!
Chelsea will be worthwhile on the Asian Handicap at home this season with Deco et al! |

RONNIE10 A Goliath is 247 bets, you need 2 winning selections to get a return, but, just 2 is minimal, unless they are big prices.
I know that accas get slagged off a lot, on here, but getting one up is far more enjoyable than staying with the single bets and watching the one selection lose!
A 16 match football acca that paid £448k, two seasons ago, (A friend of mine)...try telling him that accas are bets for mugs..........he laid out £20 on the bet! |
