Thanks for all the feedback. Its really great to hear such positive remarks from my original post and that my opinions gained from my experiences are backed up by you all. I can take heart that maybe I did learn a thing or two!
Totaly agree with you Gatsby. When you break it down like you have to a small profit each day will overall gain you a large profit, people are amazed but continue to gamble like a mug punter. At the end of the day greed takes over and they lose all rational thought. Afterall, Rome wasn't built in a day!!
With regards to trading Alfie I would only recomend it to the more experienced who know what they're doing and can understand and read the markets. For beginers I would just try and keep it simple to start with.

A Shock coming forth BFA. I'm an ex-betting Shop Manager of over 40 yrs standing and for me the only kind of punting is trading. I can't understand why more people haven't cottoned-on to the Exchanges. Probably because they want to turn £100 pound into £1,000 in one fell swoop, instead of in small increments. Just my thoughts.

I Agree with most of your points Wizardofolds and what you say doublecee makes sound sense, but i must point out that with most who visit the Forum it is visitors who may be new to punting and would need to look at and learn from us more expeirenced punters who can pass on advice, so you have to start from pole posisition, as you say those years of treading the boards harden your outlook on punting, its this thats a guide to punting and can be looked at, thats if they take a look at whats in front of them and learn and take it in and use the info.
