|
|
Suppose i Lay a first goal scorer bet(say, Drogba for Chelsea against Everton),
Do i win if he does not start and subsequently doesnt come off the bench?
Do i win if he come on as a substitute late in the game at around 80-90th min, and assuming the score was already say 1-0(which means the first goal of the game been scored already)?
and
What happens if he scores an Own Goal?
Starts the game but is injured in the first minute?
Thanks guys in advance, i use Betfair and is really unsure about their rules on this market. |

From Betfair RULES, always worth reading :
| Quote: |
| Which player will score first? All bets apply to the full 90 minutes, plus injury time. Extra time and penalties are not included. Bets will be voided on any player who takes no part in the match or who comes on as substitute after the first goal has been scored. Own goals do not count for First Goalscorer purposes and are ignored. In any dispute over the goalscorer, Betfair will settle the market when the ruling body have given their verdict. Subsequent appeals or rulings will not be considered. This market will be suspended at kick-off. |
So to answer your specific questions;
Do i win if he does not start and subsequently doesnt come off the bench? = VOID, stake returned
Do i win if he come on as a substitute late in the game at around 80-90th min, and assuming the score was already say 1-0(which means the first goal of the game been scored already)? = VOID, stake returned
and
What happens if he scores an Own Goal? = ignored, payout on 2nd goal.
Starts the game but is injured in the first minute? = WIN
