Does anyone have any info or is there already an Arb section on OLBG, if so where?

Arbs are an interesting topic I feel, at the last Olympics I had a 50% Arb, one bookie was offering 2/1 on Felix somebody winning the 400m hurdles and another bookie was offerin 2/1 that any other runner became olympic champion, a classic win win arb opportunity, these things are seriously profitable if we can all work together to get a few listed on the site it would be a positive, I'm sure you'd all agree.

So....any info anyone???

arbs don't last long, once noticed. you need too be careful you may get one half of the bet on only to find the other odds have gone.

Also, be very careful with Bet365 if you see one, if they spot it they cancel all bets calling them a palpable error

Very rare you bet the same arb with the same bookie, usually 1 with 1 and the other with another if you know what I mean!

I played around with Arbs a few years ago and never had problems getting them on, obviously you get on the price with the biggest variance first and the other price will be offered by more than 1 bookie in all probability.

Thanks for the feedback though, still pursuing though so anyone else?????

I reckon events like the olympics are the thing too watch. So many events even the bookies find it hard to price up correctly. The exchanges must throw up quite a few.

You were lucky with the 50% profit arb, most arbs offer substantially lower profit, so you need big stakes to make them worthwhile.

Theres a few ARBs buried in lazystake's excellent blog http://www.online-betting-guide.co.uk/forum/topic31_17736_360.html

But 50% ARBs? As rare as rocking horse manure.

Plus you'll need to bet whole pounds (not exact pence) or you will have your bookie account watched closely and ultimately restricted or disabled Wink

I have been using a few like BFA mentioned but i'm snagged on a problem now

As i am using pretty high stakes now such as $1000 + to make 1% through to about 4% on ARB's , the bookies Maxium bet for that market plays a key role in wether i can place it or not

Plus i have taken in to account what BTA said about betting to the pound as it will attract attention from the bookie if your betting strange amounts with pence involved

I find it increasingly diificult now to make any decent money from them, but like some on mention the Olympics will be the best bet and looking out for Specials offered from bookies is also a good way
