If you look at MUvBarca hatricks markets there is nothing on WH site about the hatrick scorer having to start, and nothing in their on-line help. It will be a simple error |

i'm not happy about it as having seen adebayor was on the bench i transfered van persie instaed of him into my fantasy football team, seemed like an intelligent move at the time! thought i'd get one over on all those people who don't wait till line ups are announced!

I was having a look at this in all honesty, but decided to turn it down, it was only 16/1 on Bet365, and no doubt the "Hat-trick scored" market on Betfair offered much better odds in comparison _________________ Top Football Tipster June 2006

I sacked WH for changing a Trixie (3 doubles and a treble) into 3 singles and a double without my permission because there was a n/r
The runners both lost and they kept all my money !
If the runners had won all I would have expected was a win double so
I have reported them to IBAS
Also when I tried to withdraw 25 quid I was accused of being a Money Launderer and had to provide screenshots of my bank account and a copy of my passport
They finally apologised and gave me 30 quid in free bets as compensation
I am a 68 year OAP and I was laundering my DSS pension

Inatimate1,
16/1 wouldve been good, then again I wouldve only taken it if Adebayor had started anyway
Papadragon,
What WH did there is standard bookmakers rules. If you dont know the rules of multiple bets you shouldnt be doing them. To "sack" them because of YOUR mistake is a little ridiculous. |

Standard bookmaker's rules eh
So they can change bets without permission eh
Ok so what's the rule on tennis matched where one player retires before the end of the match
Is the match void, won or lost ?
And how is that treated in a multiple bet
Seems to me this rule varies from bookmaker to bookmaker |

Was there any need for the attitude?
The bookmaker did not "change the bet without permission" at all. Its clearly stated in the terms and conditions how a non-runner affects multiples.
Example - If you did a 10 horse acca, and there was 1 non-runner and 9 winners, you would win, as it reverts to a 9 horse acca. You certainly wouldnt be complaining that "they changed it without your permission" would you? Im sure you wouldnt want them to void the bet instead.
So for you to complain that a Trixie became 2 singles and a double by virtue of a non-runner is hypocritical.
You cant complain about something that has been normal practice for as long as Ive been betting.
As for the tennis bet, thats specific to the bookmakers, some of the treat tennis retirements differently. |
