Online betting and gambling?.
As last night i was ripped off by my bookie, SportingBet, i placed two bets on the third goal between Liverpool and Chealsea, I would of made a profit form the outcome which ever team scored, anyway i looked closely at the slip and in play odds to see if there was anythign saying,," extra time does not count", stuff like that,,anyway there was nothing at all stating anythign like that, so i placed the bet on the next team to scofre the third goal, and as we all know, Chelsea scored but i was not paid out, so i complained and was told to read the T&C and all games were in normal play time.
Who here reads the T&C before betting??, anyone, no thought not, but when there is nothing at all saying this bet is for normal time, you bet on it.
Anyway i would like to complain to the main body to see if i have a claim for a real bet. |

Extra time doesnt count, its been a general bookmakers rule for as long as ive been betting.
You certainly were not "ripped off".
You can complain and try to claim your money back, but you have no right to. You took the bet, and knowing the T&C is your responsibility.
In my opinion, you wont have a leg to stand on. |

echo betking. The majority of footie bets are 90 mins only.
You cant accuse people of ripping you off till you read the t&c's.

Classic case of someone placing a bet WITHOUT fully understanding what they were betting on I'm afraid! _________________ I did rather well in the February 2008 tables! |

You wouldn't believe how common this is, and not just from small punters,
1st rule of betting,,, know the rules !!!!
From working in the industry its very surprising how many people do not know this, another surprising one is the 24 hour rule,,
Read the rules, it will save you time money and embarasment in the future !! |

| It's a shame they don't post the t&c on the wall. I guess this would put people off! |

I got stung by this rule a few years ago.
I was young at the time and had £3 on a scorecast on the Scotland Vs Belgium game, I had Dodds to score first and Scotland to win 2-1.
I was listening to the game and when 90 mins came along I put on my jacket and headed off to the bookies.
When I got there I was told Belgium had equalised in the 93rd minute to make it 2-2, I argued the fact that their rules stated 90 mins ONLY, but in the end had to concede defeat. |
