|
|
I have been betting for about 2 years and have had success trading and 'normal' betting but struggle when i trade one event but then bet on another. I'm either in a traders mindset or a bettors.
I think to continue increasing my bank i need to decide to stick to one form of betting.
The sports i mostly stick to are:
horse racing (no trading)
prem football
Golf
F1 & Moto GP
Snooker
My problem with trading is that most of these sports aren't trader freindly but i seem to manage? Which way should i go!

think trading is the way to go personally, u can Lay over 2.5 goals in a match then back it 2 minutes after kick off for a guarenteed profit if no goals have been scored
ive layed over 2.5 goals (@ 2.06 for 200 pts) in todays newcastle/chelsea game, obviously ill watch the match and after 15-20 mins if its still goaless ill trade out for a profit, if there doesnt look like there will be a goal then ill let it run a little longer
had 3 sucessful trades yesterday in the arsenal, liverpool and r madrid games, where i layed over 2.5 goals then backed the overs for guarenteed profit, liverpool and r madrid i traded after 25 minutes, but watching the arsenal game i couldnt see a goal coming at all so i let that go till h/t b4 i traded out
imo trading is a better and lessrisk option to just normal betting |

with 20 mins on the clock i could have backed over 2.5 goals @ 2.69, which would guarentee me 46.84 pts, but i decided to let it ride as there doesnt look any sign of a goal
now 35 mins on the clock, game is starting to get more open and i can see a goal coming so i am backing over 2,5 goals @ 3.40 and i have guarenteed myself 78.82 pts
HAPPY WITH THAT!!
edit..........wish i holded on till h/t, could have backed for 4.50 and made an extra £30, still cant grumble, cant think of too many jobs that would pay me 78.82 for 35 mins
hopefully same result on tonights flakirk/hearts game |

Personally I hate trading football with a passion. Comparing it with say tennis or cricket it has too few price changing moments (goals), and when a goal goes against you can face a wipe-out. I know what you mean about trading the unders first half BUT still very scary.
So for in-play trading it has to be cricket or tennis, perhaps snooker if I am watching it.
Best and safest trading is pre-event horse racing but its not everyone’s cup of tea.
Do agree that trading is better than punting! Who really cares which team/horse wins if, like a bookie, you make a few % profit on all outcomes. |

personally i think it is easy money, trading on football, obviously not everything goes ur way but the majority does if u know what ur doing, u just have to use ur own judgement on if there will be an early goal or not
if u think a game will not have an early goal, then u Lay the overs, then back the overs 15-25 mins into the game to lock in profit, if ur watching the game u can ue ur own judgement on if u think there is a goal coming
its the same if u think there will be an early goal, back the overs then Lay it off if there is a goal in the 20 mins for a profit
i managed nearly 80 pts from the chelsea game and i got another 31 pts in the falkirk/hearts game, i had to get out early in the falkirk match as i wasnt able to watch it, i traded out of 18 or 19 mins
for me personally (who despises tennis and cricket) football trading is the way to go, sometimes i can find opportunites in golf |

i echo BFA's sentiments...tennis/cricket both best for in-play trading, and only if you know what you're doing.
football is not for trading in-play, unders/overs seems like a goldmine but in reality, most of the time your exposure is huge for relatively small gains, and you're only one early goal away from disaster. _________________ Corner vulture
