Unfortunatly there is no such thing as quick easy profit really. Unless your very lucky. To be a make a profit you have to know what your betting on and be smart about it. For m it taks alot of hours of research before i know what i will bet on.
I avoid accumalators. Max i would go for is 3. Anything over that is just to risky i think. Even a accum with alot of bankers is rarely a winner.
I think its about concentrating on what you know. I only ever bet on English football, a bit of Irish and NFL. I never touch anything outside of that becasue i am fairly clueless. Correct scores i dont go near either, same with FGS because its more a game of chance i feel.
I play poker, but only as a hobby. I am crap at it, but i still enjoy. If your good at it, then try it. But if you havent played it before, chances of you making profit straight away are very slim. Blackjack etc is a game of mainly luck, i dont like it.
Sorry if its a bit of a ramble, but its late. |

My advice;
set up a spreadsheet and record your last months bets. Work out what went well and what didn't.
Now set up a betting bank of 2000 units, each unit = 1 cent.
Now apply sensible strategies, and a disciplined staking plan, to the betting bank. for example - a maximum 5% of bank on a bet that your last month analysis says you do well on.
If you still have 2000 units left on 5th December then congratulate yourself. If you have 2000+ then throw a party ! If you have less than 2000 then at least you have another month of data to analyse, to help next months betting improve.
The $20 = 2000 units thing, helps the small amounts seem bigger and more important, and helps discipline. Knowing you have lost 200 units seems more of a learning experience than knowing you have lost just $2, but both are 10% of your bank.
Good luck  |

If I was to advise someone on football betting Id take the advice on a certain radio tipster's advice on 1X2 betting and don't back a team where the odds are less than 8/13, as this is where a lot of people lose money, backing teams who are on a flyer, but are put right back down to earth, I think East Fife 1/2?, Arsenal? and Rangers 1/2? are examples of where this can go wrong in the UK just from the past weekend, my advice is that if there are problems on Saturday for a specific team, then it would be advisable to back against them as very rarely, the odds that you see on Bet365, Ladbrokes, etc, will change substantially
Says the guy who's currently testing out a system _________________ Top Football Tipster June 2006

internet poker is fine on small stakes and trusted websites after all they dont want cheats on there site as much as you they get there money anyway on the rackes so they dont want the bad publicity on there website do they?
but i would advice on high stakes poker. people have software for poker which will be seen more on high stakes.
thanks Andy |
