Im a good gambler on the horses, but been a bit rocky last couple of months and took one or two big losses recently. I want to get back into trading but do it more seriously. have not traded for about 7 months and when i use to do it, It was only on horse racing.
But on 1st January i will be taking a big stab on this trading game, but i know im no expert, All though i know my horses like back of my hand would more than welcome any tips on how to go about trading on the sport.
But main question is on other sports, football, tennis, darts, golf, cricket etc... i really would appreciate any advice on how to trade on these sports. I know the likes of darts and tennis the prices move every single shot/throw of the dart and can be great for trading. But if you have any advice and any useful websites help me about with previews/stats of sports i would more than welcome it.
Will probably use a bank of £1,000 and can spend as much time as i like in front of computer, looking to make £20 to £40 a day at first and then look towards £50 to £100 a day. Please give me your opinions. |

If your knowlege is good, have you ever thought about laying horses?
With your bank of £1K i would think you could make your £20-40 a day no problem.
I also think with laying it has to be over long term and not short. |

lost highway - pre-race horse trading is the safest way to get a few % per day.
Horse laying can be profitable but your still trying to beat a 105% book and that takes some doing over the long-term.
Trading other sports - depends on your knowledge of and access (time of event /live TV pics) to these sports. But you'd probably have to trade in-play and that can get scary.
Cricket, tennis and Golf are worth looking at. Football can be a cruel trading sport as it has few significant scoring moments, compared to the others mentioned. Speaking from painful personal experience, when your football trading goes wrong its often hard to recover. |

cricket, tennis, rugby, darts all seem to be great for trading in-play, if you know what you're doing.
football definitely one to avoid, i only really punt on football, rarely trade. _________________ Corner vulture
