Here are a few facts I should remember if my january betting strategy experiences difficulties......
Day I restarted my strategy:
january 22ND:
Time spent thinking about improving from last mistakes : about a month which feels just about right...
Actions taken: regular reading of discipline related post , before betting , during betting and after betting
Thoro analysis of what sunk me .... I wrote it out and waited to find something that I thought would help... If I make mistakes I'm pretty hopeful it won't be the same ones....
-new approach to betting , new bookie and so on
- time spent researching/placing / tracking the scores of our bets : a maximum of an hour per day
_ usual behaviour : checking the end of the game so I limit the emotional roller coaster and become a bit more productive and a little less stressed while the game is in progress.....
- bet frequency: 1 per day
biggest challenge ahead: not going crazy when the first loss will come
how should I deal with this? LEVEL STAKING
- what should a single loss cost me: the profit of 2 bets.
a sensible way to look at it : who cares it's only 2hrs that I lost thus far.....
The thing I MUST DO: let a good night of sleep go by before the next bet
How long should it take to recover half of my losses.... Wrong way of thinking ... Just be sensible about the next bet which you should find in the next 3 days and get back on the winning side
How do we go about not caring too much about losses?
both Betfair and Bet365 have an option to hide the current balance , that should help to go about buisness as usual........
what should I do if I lose 2 in a row or 2 out of 3 : we'll deal with those questions after we record our first loss..... let a night go by and deal with the problem in the morning
what should I do if the unexpected happens?: refer to this trade and think about it for a day or more..... |
