PHILADELPHIA 76ERS @ DETROIT PISTONS
GAME 5 - TIED 2-2

The series goes back to Detroit with the Pistons hoping to take the lead for the first time. Both teams have won 1 at home and won 1 away. Detroit only lost 7 at home during the regular season and now they seem to be figuring the Sixers out. I think Detroit will win here but not sure weather they'll cover the -9.5 handicap. In all games against each other this season (8 games), they have won this handicap once, which was game 2 of this series. No bet.

DALLAS MAVERICKS @ NEW ORLEANS HORNETS
GAME 5 - HORNETS LEAD 3-1

The Hornets return home with the crowd looking to witness the first time an NBA team representing New Orleans win a playoff series. They beat the Mavs in Dallas for the first time since 1998, and the Mavericks had a 34-7 home record this season. New Orleans have beaten the Mavs by 4, 11, 12, 24 and 13 this season so I think the -6 handicap is very kind.
Also in the home games versus Mavericks the total points have been 220, 197, 196, and 230, with the Hornets getting into triple figures each time.

150pts New Orleans Hornets -6 1.95 @Coral
100pts Over 194 1.92 @Coral
PENDING... New Orleans to Win the Series 1.42

PHOENIX SUNS @ SAN ANTONIO SPURS
GAME 5 - SPURS LEAD 3-1

Spurs will be looking to finish the job tonight. In the first two games Phoenix built leads only to give them away, on sunday the Suns had a great start in the first quarter and managed to keep it going until the Spurs conceded defeat. San Antonio are strong at home with a 34-7 record but Phoenix did manage to beat them during the regular season. Phoenix away record is 25-16. I still think Phoenix are capable of winning in San Antonio, and they should have won game one.

75pts Phoenix Suns -5 1.91 @Bet365

UTAH JAZZ @ HOUSTON ROCKETS
GAME 5 - JAZZ LEAD 3-1

The Rockets are the lowest scoring team in the playoffs averaging 85.5 points and only shooting 39.9% fromthe field. The Jazz have won all three in Houston this year. I'll take the Jazz to close out the series here.

50pts Utah Jazz 2.1 @Bet365

WASHINGTON WIZARDS @ CLEVELAND CAVALIERS
CAVS LEAD 3-1

Going with the home team again as the Cavs look to close the series in Cleveland. They've won all four at home to the Wizards this season but think it'll be another close one.

100pts Cleveland Cavaliers 1.44 @Betfred

ATLANTA HAWKS @ BOSTON CELTICS
SERIES TIED 2-2

The best record in the regular season versus the worse record to make the playoffs are tied as Atlanta won both their home games.
Boston were 35-6 at home and Atlanta 12-29 away in the regular season.
In the four games at boston this season Celtic have won by 23, 10, 23, and 19. I'll take Boston to get back on track and to make the handicap here.

DETROIT PISTONS @ PHILADELPHIA 76ERS
PISTONS LEAD 3-2

Phily have got to win to keep their season alive but I think Detroit have got their game right now and will have too much for the Sixers.

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS @ WASHINGTON WIZARDS
CAVS LEAD 3-2

The Wizards won game 5 by a single point and didn't really seem to miss Gilbert Arenas. These two teams must know each other really well now and I think this game 6 we be much the same as game 5. In the regular season two of the games were won by 1 and 2 points, and the last two
playoff games have been won by 3 and 1 pints. I think another close one here but will take Cavs on the handicap.

50pts Cleveland Cavaliers +3.5 @Betfred

BOSTON CELTICS @ ATLANTA HAWKS
CELTICS LEAD 3-2

Atlanta have shown they are good at home and are 2-0 at home in the series but I still think Celtics should win here as they did in the regular season. Boston can win the series tonight but I don't like the odds on a win and the handicap is fair at -8.5 but no bet.

HOUSTON ROCKETS @ UTAH JAZZ
JAZZ LEAD 3-2

Utah need to win this one else the series heads back to Houston for the decider. Utah are 37-4 at home and think they'll win here but again don't like the odds on offer.

I been away for the weekend so have missed some games over the last few days. I went upto my native stoke-on-trent to cheer on my beloved Stoke City and see them get promotion to the Premiership. I'm over the moon and can't wait to see us on motd next season.

SECOND ROUND

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS @ BOSTON CELTICS
GAME 1

Boston were my favourites to win the playoffs after their awesome record in the regular season, but it took seven games to take care of Atlanta and now face Lebron James and his Cavaliers. The Cavs got to the final last year so have the experience from last year and have added to their roster including Delonte West who will face his former team here. Looking at the regular seasons records the Celtics come out on top on overall form, Home form 35-6 to Cavs 18-23 on the road, and Away form 31-10 to the Cavs 27-14 at home. In the four times they've met this season it's has been won by the home team.
I think Boston should win but 1.17 is too short for me. However I'm tempted by the +10 handicap for the Cavs because when Cleveland lost by 10 to them this season Lebron sat out.

50pts Cleveland Cavaliers +10 1.91 @PaddyPower

DETRIOT PISTONS @ ORLANDO MAGIC
GAME 3 - PISTONS LEAD 2-0

Orlando have lost 9 straight playoff games to Detroit which includes last years 4-0 sweep by the Pistons. Orlando's home record is the same as Detroits away record 25-16. And in the meetings between the two at Orlando this season it's 1-1.
This one can go either way but their may be value in the Pistons at 2.76. 5/6 between these two this year have totalled more than 187 points, also all Orlando's first round games were over.

50pts Detroit Pistons 2.76 @Coral
75pts Over 187 Total Points 1.95 @Coral

UTAH JAZZ @ LA LAKERS
GAME 2 LAKERS LEAD 1-0

Lakers won 109-98 in game one and Kobe Bryant will be celebrating his first MVP award tonight. The Lakers won both home games during regular season, and I think the 1.31 odds on offer is a fair price. But in all games in which they have beaten the Jazz this season they would have covered the -7 handicap.

100pts La Lakers -7 2 @Coral
