Philadelphia 76ers v Utah Jazz
This is a hard choice for me as I am a follower of the Jazz, but I think that this looks like a "gimmie" for the evening.
Utah do lead the Northwest Division of the Western Conference, whilst the 76ers prop up the Atlantic Division in the East, but this should not be a deterrant at all for this evenings hosts.
Jazz have been very hit & miss on the road this season, with a 4-4 record and since their opening day win at Golden State, they have been rather "lucky" on the road, 2 wins by 4 and 2pts, and the other against Detroit was by a 10pt margin, but when you consider that one of the teams that went close were the 2-13 SuperSonics it makes me wonder if they are going to be as lucky against the ever improving 76ers.
As far as their luck goes, it has been slightly up and down, but at the moment, they seem to be hitting a decent spot of form at the right time, they may not have the best of records, but their home record of 2-4 doesn't come across as bad as it looks. Apart from the Hornets (7-2 on the road) thrashing them by 21 points, their games have been very close. New Jersey (4-2 on the road) beat them by 5pts, whilst Toronto (4-3) and Golden State (4-3) both won by 2, and their wins have come against Portland (0-7) by 5pts and the Charlotte Bob Cats (1-4) by an impressive margin of 31pts, and comming off the back of beating Millwauke by 15 points and handing them their first home defeat of the season, and a couple of close matches, (including the Golden State match which they lost in the last 6 seconds of overtime), I think that they look well handicaped to at least keep the scores close, and they might even possibly have the chance to win the game towards the end of the match....
Philadelphia 76ers + 7.5pts @ 1.85 (Betfair)
