I'm going to be betting against Anderson outright and I will also be opposing him heavily if he gets to the semi-finals...
His odds are far too short (2/1) for someone with a very indifferent record at the Lakeside for a start, then there is the moving over issue.
Barry Hearne has been trying to tempt Anderson into moving to the PDC for a while now. According to what I have heard Anderson is seriously tempted... however... it is in the BDO contract that if anyone gets to the semi-finals of the World Championships they must play in it next year...
Far be it from me to suggest that Anderson may throw a quarter final game, but I will be betting against him if he gets there... I will also be opposing him in the second round against Whitlock |

I would go for a patriotic punt on Mark Webster, because he has been doing well recentley and I think he beat Phil Taylor in a the final of a league competition in Holland which was a mix of PDC/BDO players.
I dont like the look of Gary Robson to be honest mate or Anderson. Robson has a tough draw in the 1st round against Tony David who is an ex World Champ while Anderson has a poor record at the Lakeside.
Bob Thornton could be a good EW punt after winning the Masters in Bridlington. _________________ China Open 2008 Snooker Challenge Runner Up |

| hopefully the ferryhill flyer can beat martin adams this time in the first round and go all the way again. at 66/1 i might have a cheeky punt seeing though I used to live in Ferryhill and now only live 2 miles away. Come on Phil. |

| Anderson blew it on the doubles another first round exit but his opponent Fabien Roosenbrand might be worth a punt now for the title 25/1 Stan James offer |
