I have had possibly the worst month in my history on OLBG, 6 winners from 38, which is terrible by any standards, I just hope next month is a lot better in all honesty.
Anyone with early views for Euro 2008? thinking of dutching Germany and Portugal to reach the final, both have to be the strongest teams in the first half of the draw, and I can't see anyone but one of these two reaching the final.
The other half is extremely difficult to predict. France are losing it in terms of abilitly slightly, and I don't think they will qualify ahead of the Netherlands and Italy.
Spain are a great price @ 1.99 to win their group (Greece, Sweden, Russia).
I am slightly disheartened by this month's performance, and will have to build myself back up in May
Team bet sounds good though _________________ Top Football Tipster June 2006

Would not even dream of including Portugal in any of my bets for the title to be honest. They struggled to qualify for the tournament drawing 6 of their 12 games. They have been soundly beaten by Italy and Greece in their recent friendlies. Big Phil in trouble for striking opponents. Players out injured.
At the moment Germany are the worthy favourites. Easy draw, team in form etc. I also like the look of Greece again. They seem to be playing well and could spring another surprise. _________________ "The biggest regret of my whole football career was leaving White Hart Lane in 1970.....I was heartbroken" - Jimmy Greaves. my team bet for the weekend is Blackburn to beat Man Utd @ 5/1. Advise get on early. Especially if Chelsea drop further points at Goodison Park on Thursday.
Man U have Barcelona Tuesday and can afford to drop points at the weekend. Blackburn alwyas raise their game against Utd being a local derby and need the points to keep with Villa and City. _________________ "The biggest regret of my whole football career was leaving White Hart Lane in 1970.....I was heartbroken" - Jimmy Greaves. Agree with you both on Germany, it's as good as a home tournament for them and no doubt they will be there or thereabouts. I have to slide with Italy as well, the World Cup winners, been there, done it. Portugal, Spain, Holland fall in to that "it's long overdue" category with the likes of England(summer on the beach). Plenty of talented players but never quite make it happen in the big one's.
I will get on the three team bets we have so far in Ashton, Alves and Blackburn. Probs leave the FGS until as late as possible, they like an injury them two. Just a couple more to make the five _________________ Eng Prem Scorecast Champion 06/07 |

I've added 2 to the 3 we already had to make the 5 from at least 4's, requiring 1 or more.
4/1 ASHTON
9/2 ALVES
5/1 BLACKBURN
4/1 KANOUTE
9/2 MUTU
A couple didn't make the minumum 4/1 price, a fav of mine Seville's Luis Fabiano(7/2) and Swansea's J.Scotland (7/2). As well as all the boring bets, chucked in Espanyol's Fernandez Luis Garcia at 10's, to maybe stun their rivals at the Nou Camp.
Have a good 'un everyone _________________ Eng Prem Scorecast Champion 06/07 |

Ashton doesn't start today! Curbishley makes 7 changes to the side from last week! _________________ "The biggest regret of my whole football career was leaving White Hart Lane in 1970.....I was heartbroken" - Jimmy Greaves. We sat down just as the teams came out, looked across, thought I was at the wrong ground. The kind of team we would play for Grays Athletic away in July. No idea we're Deano was The downside of going to the games, straight Red for Sweet FO's.
Yellow card for Coops as well on Alves _________________ Eng Prem Scorecast Champion 06/07 |

hi team, it's been some time since i last posted. how's everyone doing?
my pick for today will be Barca AH0 @ 1.775.
It is not often that u can get Barca on a Draw-no-bet when they play at Nou Camp. Even when Real Madrid visit Barca have to give at least 0/0.5.
If u had followed MU's games in Europe, u would have noticed that it is always safety 1st, i.e. do not concede, and away goals 2nd, i.e. they only counter attack. i think they will employ the same tactics again as they rehearsed this in their last away match against Blackburn last weekend.
Barca appear to have placed the CL as priority the whole season. More so now when Real Madrid are too far ahead of them in the La Liga.
i would (as most other punters will) avoid betting on the return leg at Old Trafford is MU were to come home with a 2 goal advantage.
good luck. _________________ EPL Big 4 AH record

Dear Football Supporter,
As you are aware, due to the demand for tickets exceeding the number available for sale, a ballot took place to ensure the tickets were allocated in a fair and consistent manner.
Your original application was subsequently put onto a waitlist, unfortunately we regret to advise you that your application for tickets has still not been successful and we have now successfully allocated all of the tickets for the UEFA Cup Final 2008. _________________ Challenge Winners for Season
