|
|
A new team, the name of which will match its member's betting abilities (actually, I hope not).
The team was started by Martinallen72, and was soon joined by Tomario, princecap, DesertorKid and Clarkey in the month of May (2008)
This thread is would be a chilled out place to discuss tactics, strategies and other bets to beat the bookies, or even simple gossip. Hoping for a memorable ride (and please feel free to introduce yourself).
If you wish to join this group, just do so. Or simply email Martinallen72.
Hoping for a long and successful few years
Good luck! _________________ Numbers and me, Its a love-hate relationship. I love them, they hate me! |

Heh...I have been keeping eye on your selections Martin..pretty impressive, both yesterday and today!
Myself, I was in £5 profit yesterday, should have probably stopped there. But in true gambling fashion, I made some more bets today, and a lot of them lost.
One though salvaged me later this evening. Here's hoping for a positive balance at the end of the day. One day at a time _________________ Numbers and me, Its a love-hate relationship. I love them, they hate me! |

i had the same problem. did too much in the evening. had a few silly bets at Dundalk and they lost
being more disciplined today!! Going to go get meself some bottles of ale and sit down to watch the racing before I have to take the other half out for a birthday meal this evening. Lets hope I can pay for it with todays winnings
really like Icesolator in the 5:20 at Goodwood. could be a nice little bet lurking at the end of the day. disappointed that Jupiter Pluvius isnt running in the Guineas though - he was my antepost bet and was strong on him.
Good luck for today _________________ DONT LET YOUR FAVOURITES FLIP-FLOP!

Hello my fellow Donkeys
I too had a nice winner on thursday (Top Dawn) and blew the rest on stupid races
My new betting system lasted all of 5 minutes.
I was only going to bet on class 3 and above. But there wasn't any on Thursday . So that went quickly down the pan.
Here's to a profitable month and to giving those Bookies Butts a good kicking! _________________ Go on ! Fill yer Boots!!!

Welcome veedub, the more the merrier
Tomario, are you still working on betting on favs in Class 1,2,3 races? If you want some stats from previous years on it, give me a shout here. I have got my hands on a software very similar to what MoB has, and time permitting, I'd be happy to provide some stats from previous years.
I have been working on a few systems myself, just as a test. They threw up following for today:
Flat Winners. Basically they are a combo of some trainers and tracks they are most favourable at.
| Quote: |
Ajaan 5.45 Newmarket @8
Flawed Genius 2.10 Newmarket @7
Dr Faustus (IRE) 5.10 Newmarket @ 2.25 |
Trainer+Jockey+Track Combo. Quite similar to above..but for all the races.
| Quote: |
Raven's Pass (USA) 3.25 Newmarket @4.5
Ridge Dance 4.35 Newmarket @3.25 in a 4 horse race
|
Haggas as a trainer, within certain classes (4,6) and certain age limits has a very decent record. 407 races, 80 winners, +130 LSP points. The strike rate is a bit low, but this one should have a decent chance today:
| Quote: |
| Tifernati 5.40 Doncaster @5 |
Last one is a combo of Stoute (trainer) plus a few other jockeys. This gives up Perfect Stride in 2000 guineas. So I have gone e/w on it.
Phew...
These systems are untested, but they all show decent returns for the last 4-5 years, with fairly decent-ish Strike rates too. Might go on most of them today.
Good luck Donkeys _________________ Numbers and me, Its a love-hate relationship. I love them, they hate me! |

I'm not really a forum-poster but wanted to say hi to you all. I know martinallen72 well and although he has the big gob in the family, (he wont mind me saying that), I'm the one with biggest tips! |
