hp and hc races

what kind of grade races are hp and hc races. i understand the ranking of a1
a2
a3
a4
a5
a6

so where do these two types of races come in the ranking.

H could be for hurdles, the P could be puppies,

its all dependant on where these abbreviations appear.

I've just found this list of racecard abbreviations, and neither of yours appear on it

H hurdle or heavy

Hcp handicap

Hd head

Hgh high

HldOn held on
