my main betting is in football and horses but a local bookie has introduced a different bet on the dogs.
its odds and evens: you have to get the winner of the race, you have 3 dogs 1,3,5 or 2,4,6 running for you,he only does it with the morning afternoon and evening BAGS meetings.
the rules:
you can only do doubles which pays 2/1 trebles 9/2 or accum 9/1
if there is a dog at 1/1 or under the race is void and a single pays4/5.
do people think there is value in this bet,and is there some sort of system out there i should be using or looking to develop to give me an advantage over the bookie.
thanks any replies would be appreciated. |

if there was value the bookie wouldnt offer it.
if u assumed it was a 50-50 bet on each, a double would be 3/1, treble 7/1. by disallowing low priced mutts its an even race and hard to gain the edge. _________________ Positions now available in OLBG Lottery syndicate. 28 lines in each draw dramatically increases chances of a jackpot. my local bookies used to offer a bet like a placepot where you had 6 races but your dogs had to be outside of the 1st 2 places which paid 10/1 if you could do it this was on bags races and was not as easy as you think might be _________________ LUCK CAN ONLY BE WHAT YOU MAKE IT, SO MAKE PLENTY |
