i have been developing a new greyhound system with consistent profits.
Example
1.33 swindon
T1 2-1
T2 5-1
T3 5-2
T4 3-1
T5 9-2
T6 4-1
After reading the form, i notice the 'in form' dogs are T6 and T3
BET
T6 SINGLE £5 WIN = £25 RETURN
FORECASTS
3-1
3-2
3-4
3-5
3-6
BET £1 each on the forecast possible wins here should be around £13-£22
So you have 1 in 3 chance of winning
If either T3 or T6 wins, then you will be yielding a profit
However, proper studying of form is required in order to select the correct dogs for either the single or forecast bets.
I have done this, and have been achieving a strike rate of around 70-80%. The winnings have not been huge, but consistent and this system will make a profit in the long term. |

Care to give us some supporting info for that statement?
Care to comment on bookie mark up %ages in those win odds you quote or the bookie take-out on forecast bets?

I will answer it for you - Around 30% for the win market and I guess about the same on the forecast market (but the bookies keep that one quiet). So your dutching in a 130% book, which will lose you lots long-term.
If you really really must back greyhounds then do it on Betfair in a book that is closer to 105%. That way your fun will last longer.
If only us layers could Lay with a built in 30% margin like those greyhound bookies |
