Gretna v Celtic
As mentioned on the Sat thread, Celtic were far from there best midweek the added pressure of Rangers having a 6 point lead and even oh the Gretna boys will not know who is who[they were voting/decided to see who wanted to play] i am sure they will fight against the "Premier League Champions" [maybe even a one off game for some of them]. Obviously Gretna are the whipping boys and a Celtic 2-0 win is still a winner, was looking back at Gretnas games and its all the bigger teams they have held down to 2 goals or less Hearts 3 times Falkirk twice Aberdeen twice Hibernian & St.Mirren. Also if the game does go ahead as the pitch is an absolute swamp which will hinder the Hoops flowing silky football lol. I did say on the forum about his team selections if Samaras gets a start he could be looking for his 1st hatrick the rest of them looked dead on there feet midweek!!!

im going for an away win 3/1 general
Liverpool have been playing well lately and i think they may be just to strong for man u.
Ferdinand likley to miss out will expose the lack of pace of vidic and i belive thyis is were torres will capitalise.
altough utd do have a class attacking unit liveerpool have a defence to cope with this.
also the ball winning ability of mascaranho will allow gerrard to attack more insted of doing the donkey work
so im going for an away win here. |

I think Gretna +3 looks a bet<I,m posting this as a Celtic supporter> Celtic are really poor and have been for a while there seems to be something amiss<inmo the manager> they do not play as a team and tho, they have some sub standard players they should be able to show more than they have, no team at any level can hope to get anything when defensively you have 3 liabilities<Mcmanus,Caldwell,Naylor> the manager in his wisdom isolates Nakamura by playing him on the wing rather give him a free role where he can use his undoubted ability, enough of the rant Gretna shouldn,t lose by more than 2 goals.

princefaz ,
What based on are you making your conclusion ? Well probably i agree that Racing Santander should take over Recreativo Huelva....but there are no team news , injuries , motivation etc.. though stats are clearly in favor of Santander :
Santander : 4 matches ( won :2 draw:1 lost: 1 )
Mar 19, 2008 Copa del Rey Racing Santander 1 - 1 Getafe(8th ranked team in table )
Mar 16, 2008 Primera Division Getafe CF 2 - 1 Racing Santander
Mar 9, 2008 Primera Division Racing Santander 3 - 0 Real Betis Sevilla(15th)
Mar 2, 2008 Primera Division Real Valladolid(17th) 0 - 1 Racing Santander
Huelva: ( won : 1 draw: 1 lost :2 )
Recreativo Huelva 4 - 2 Real Murcia ( 19th ranked in the table )
Mar 9, 2008 Primera Division RCD Mallorca (10 th ) 7 - 1 Recreativo Huelva
Mar 1, 2008 Primera Division Recreativo Huelva 2 - 3 Real Madrid
Feb 23, 2008 Primera Division Valencia(11 th ) CF 1 - 1 Recreativo Huelva
Another match i like is Sparta Rotterdam - Feyenoord Rotterdam . Feyoonord also looks like a favor but my conclusion are all solely based on stats thats why i would appreciate if someone could provide us with another information on team and injuries ..... Thx |

At 3/1 i think this is a amzing price for a team who can beat any team in the world on there day. Man utd with 2-3 injury doubts including having to play a 3rd choice cb and a 2nd choice gk is all the more encouraging to back liverpool at 3s.
Liverpool win 1-0
torres to score

This is it.The sunday grand slam.
Manchester United Vs Liverpool - HOME WIN
I think Manchester United will have too much for Liverpool today. In the last 10 meetings between these two United have won 7 only conceding four goals in them games.United could be without Fedinand but if Fergie chooses the right replacement not pique maybe Oshea then they should be able to cope with Liverpools counter attacks.Liverpools defence has been leaky this season but they can still be very difficult to break down.Ronaldo Giggs Scholes Rooney and Tevez should be too much for Liverpool.
Main Bet:HOME WIN @ 10/9 with canbet
Chelsea Vs Arsenal - under 2.5 goals
I cant see many goals here.I wouldnt be suprised if it ended 0-0.A draw would here wouldnt be a bad result for Arsenal after a poor run recently. They do seem to play better though when not expected to but Chelsea have Manchester United in sights now and will want to stay in the title race.6 out of the last 9 meetings have been under 2.5 goals.Neither team will want to lose this one.
Main Bet:Under 2.5 goals @ 4/7 with Bet365
Others to consider:Half Time DRAW @ 11/10 with Bet365
HT/FT - DRAW/DRAW @ 4/1 Tote
Arsenal AH +0.25 @ 1/1 with Bet365
Correct Score:0-0 @ 8/1 with Tote

Today German League:
Berlin - Schalke
Very important striker Pantelic is missing. I think its very hard to replace him for Berlin. The other strikers are totally out of form or they havent got anytime a form. Only real goal threat should be Raffael.
Schalke has also some players missing but no one who isnt replacable.
They must go for the win but when the game goes not their way they schould be happy with a draw.
I excpect two defensiv teams searching for their chance. But i expecting also that Schalke will be stronger in the midfield area and controlling the game. If Hertha manages counters they will miss pantelic.
Under could be the option! Also a Schalke Win
Bielefeld - Bremen
Old Heinen in the goal who lives in Ireland with the sheeps and everytime they need a goalie they call him but..last game he got some nice parads.
Anyways this time he should get some real work to do.
Bremen welcomes back DIEGO who is a very important player for them. I expect him on fire. maybe also frings back after long injury.
Bielefeld is a poor team but they are improving the last games but couldnt managed however a victory.
Bremen should be tos trong for them today.
The question in bremen is always: are they taking their numerous chances? Surely they will get plenty of theme.
Remember that Bielefeld lost in Bremen 1:8 Diego scoring one and assisting 3!
They could have some fear on bremen and that is deadly to a team like werder.
Could be Over and Bremen to win!
have fun
extra: im putting a small punt on Valencia in Madrid. this could be the game where they could get their season something positive. To this odds very nice |

Don't know what to make of this one with Gretna conceding
3 per game and Celtic with 1 goal from their last 4, granted Gretna are no Barca!
fyi, dutching 5 Celtic wins 1-0, 2-0, 3-0, 2-1 and 3-1 pays over evens on Betfair |

Man Utd vs Liverpool - Couple of bets to consider in todays first at Old Trafford. Rio Ferdinand might be worth giving a go to score at anytime at 12/1. Rio has scored 3 goals against Liverpool in his Manchester United career with him only scoring one goal at most against any other top flight opposition. Another bet to consider maybe Manchester United to win to nil at 21/10. 6 out of the last 7 ties between these two have seen Liverpool score 0 goals. Bets which I wouldn't consider today are Torres or Ronaldo to score at anytime which are priced at 15/8 and 9/4 respectively. Torres has only scored 2 goals away from home this season (against Middlesborough and doomed Derby) and Ronaldo doesn't usually score in the "big" games.
If I had to predict the scoreline I would say a 2-0 win to United with Carrick and Ferdinand bagging the goals.
