PostPosted: Mon Apr 07, 2008 3:01 pm    Post subject: FWLP Match Discussion Thread - Round 26

This new thread is intended for discussion of matches involved in the FIFA World League Predictor Game. It is hoped that this thread not only aids us - those of us in the competition - be a bit more accurate with our predictions but also to broaden everybodies soccer - sorry, football - betting horizon & maybe add a few profitable bets to peoples weekends.

Details & discussion of the competition itself should be confined to the original thread :
http://www.online-betting-guide.co.uk/forum/topic41_16233.html

New entrants are always welcome. The aim is to get our mini-league to the top of the "League of Leagues", we're sat third* in the Top 10 at the minute, and we need a good coupe of weeks for a run at top spot.

The matches for discussion this week are :

Mamelodi Sundowns v Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa)
Werder Bremen v Schalke 04 (Germany)
Portsmouth v Newcastle United (England)
Le Mans v AJ Auxerre (France)
Juventus v AC Milan (Italy)
Colón v Huracán (Argentina)
RCD Espanyol v Osasuna (Spain)
Guadalajara v CF América (Mexico)
Manchester United v Arsenal (England)
Internazionale v Fiorentina (Italy)

All matches are (usually) from that countries top league.

The matches are to be mainly discussed from the aspect of the 1X2 market, with a look at correct scores also - see main thread (above) - however, discussion of all available markets is welcome. As I have already mentioned the idea is to add profitable bets to everyone's weekend.

* At time of posting. Sometimes, the whole amount of players have not been completely processed until a little bit later in the week.

Apologies - For the non-appearance of this thread last week. Hectic home life got in the way.

Wish our luck continues ! Fingers Crossed

Colon v Huracan
Both sides are weak. Colon has a poor record home. Huracán has managed some difficult draws (Independiente, Boca) recently . I see the draw as the most possible result here, with a low score .

Internazionale v Fiorentina
A clear home win here. Comfortably first and with only one loose home Inter will not have trouble to beat the Firenze team just coming from the effort of their victory against PSV. I am playing my joker here 3-1.

Juventus v Milan
Very similar home vs away records here. Last 2 times 2007 and 2006 this too drew without goals (one in each city). I think that the result may be the same this time but with goals.

good luck Win
