Hi everyone,
just wondering what everyone thinks about this..... 160/1 that both semis go to penalties? I thought this was quite good odds and stuck a fiver on it.
Let me know!
Cool

i think it has to be a united win tonight. Looking at the home and away form in there leagues, evens for united looks a steal. Win

United home form in the league:W16 D1 L1

Hi robpomp
I can see tomorrows night going to pens as I can see another 1-1 but I can see Barca scoring tonight which would end the bet. But best of luck anyway as 160-1 is definately worth a fiver!

For the second leg I have gone for Barcelona +0.5 @ 1.88

Again tonight I am finding it hard to seperate these two sides and its going to be a match both sides want to win after losses in the league on Saturday. United lost at Chelsea and I have to say that performance could rank as the worst I have seen them play for a long while. Barca rested quite a few players against Deportivo and their aim is on the Champions League now, nothing else just this. Their away form recently has been poor but when jetting around Europe they do well, they are unbeaten in their 7 away Champions League matches this season and this is the kind of game they relish. United could be without Rooney and Vidic, 2 very big players for them, Barca have Puyol back and that will give them a huge lift. United always have difficult semi finals and on quite a few occasions this is the stage they have gone out. Barca can get a score draw or even the win.

Messi tonight for the 1st goal scorer with 1-1 or 2-2 being the 90 minute result.

Happy punting to all

Kenny81, looks like a solid enough bet for those odds.

Hills, have the same bet in their specials sections at odds of 66/1.

I'm not sure what will happen tonight, I like the odds on Hills about Ronaldo to score a penalty at 6.50, this includes extra time and any penalty shootouts. I'm a Liverpool fan but think he may get another chance tonight, especially at old trafford where Man Utd often get decisions like that swinging their way. Also they have had bad luck with penalties at the weekend and may have their fortunes reversed tonight.

Not sure about a Man Utd Win, Barcelona have done well on their travells this season having so far beaten Celtic and Shalke in the knockout stages. Looks like its heading for a draw.

For me its a no bet, but if I was forced to make any suggestions it would be a Draw (@3.25 Paddy Power) and Ronaldo to score a penalty (@6.50 Hills).

Just a random feeling on this one....TEVEZ first scorer and Man Utd win 3-2.
I had a premonition.

No Rooney, No Vidic, No Giggs. Hargreaves at RB!

2 weeks ago I would have in big for Utd in this match but to be honest United have been below par in their last 3 matches and whilst Barca have poor themselves recently they have all their players available bar Ronaldinho. Barca look a decent value punt tonight at 7/2.

I've gone for Ronaldo and 2-1 Barca @ 80/1, massive odds considering, I think it could be a case of Utd throwing away the lead...
And I am also quite taken by Puyol to score last @ 66/1, and taken him & 2-1 Barca @ 550/1...

Also, I think Utd will be slightly more aggressive here, and they are 6/5 to get the first card of the match, and Barca look huge @ 11/8 to score the last goal
