Premiership Picks

Derby vs Arsenal

Although there is nothing at stake for either teams here past results and the difference in the strengths in these teams dictates to me that there will only be one outcome , even if Arsenal rest there best players (no reason to do that) then there young players will be even more hungry for a win and to impress the manager , Derby's season was over a long time and people may say they won't want to get humilated but that doesn't come into it in my eyes as they already have so many times this season.

Sad to say but i can only see another beaten for Derby

Arsenal -1.5 asain handicap @1.80 : Bet365

ill be betting on arsenal as well, however,
arsenal will be without diaby/flamini/helb/rosicky which leaves arsene wenger little choice in midfield; most likely eboue, fabregas, gilberto, and a possible start for walcott(or he'll play eboue, denilson, gilberto and fabregas on the wing which hasn't worked). Any arsenal fan knows when Eboue plays on the wing we do not do well, nor do we do well if Fabregas is on the wing. Fabianski(3rd string keeper) is playing in goal, and although he is great at stopping shots his kicks to midfield are rather poor, almost aimlessly. With Gallas most likely handing over his captain's band after the season i can't imagine he'll be in great spirits. Bendtner(who is known for his arrogance by his team) will probably start up front with RVP, giving Adebayor(our leading scorer) a break. However, The boys have had a long rest since their last game and will be bitter about not playing in midweek, having to watch three rivals and Thierry Henry:)
IN CONCLUSION
Draw OR Arsenal Win. worthless odds on an away win anyway, but it looks nice on that accumulator Cheeky
will probably also put very small stakes on a draw (like a pint)
but much applies to the lineup Wenger decides...COME ON ARSENAL BOYS

There's only one bet for me tomorrow and that's:

Goteborg v Sundsvall (1.40)

Goteborg had a bad shock when they visited Ljungskile and got beaten 2-1. They were the better team and got mugged by Ljungskile, who have surprised many by being one of the form teams of the Allsvenskan so far. Goteborg have 100% home record and Sundsvall have not picked up a point on their travels. BIG, BIG, home win for Goteborg, who will want a result after the disaster during the week at Ljungskile.

Hi The Kop
After a pretty shocking weekend for myself with betting, I need to recoup some losses. Do you view Goteborg as a dead cert / banker?

West Brom vs Southampton

Draw @ 4.3 (Betfair)

The draw here looks big to me. If i'm not mistaken a draw would see West Brom more or less promoted with their better goal difference. And Southampton would be delighted with a point also. 4 of the last 5 in this fixture have been draws. West Brom's home form of late isn't great (DLWLD). Saints have drawn 4 of their last 6 away.

EDIT: Just noticed Saints have drawn 9 of their last 12 away.

Fancy viking to win this one Win ..so far viking played 2 at home won 2 ,valerenga away won against worst team lillestrom and lost 2-0 to Tromso whom viking beat away 1-0 ..thats a long shot as im no expert on norwegian football but the odds of 2.1 are very tempting Fingers Crossed ..one last stat :home win - draw - away win (1-x-2)
Norwegian Premier Division : 59% - 26% - 15%

any thoughts appreciated Smile

Hawkeye, might you get better value betting on stoke to win the championship @ 3.5 on Betfair as if West Brom draw odds are likely to drop to just under 2 and if they lose down to around 1.65. Basically a very good value double chance bet on Southampton or draw, just a thought, not sure which represents better value Confused

Arsenal could play their under 12's and still win Laughing
