Gone for a treble this weekend @ 2.26 . not what I usually go for but's got a fairly good chance of coming in i reckon.

Man U, Blackburn, Aston Villa

Man U have the title in their sights and are v. unlikey to slip up at home. Blackburn home against derby, no explanation needed. Wigan might just balls it up for me and nick a draw, but my reasons are they've been playing a little above their station recently, Villa are obviously are of a different class which they've begun to show again recently, pushing for Europe etc. and Wigan don't have the advantage of playing at home.

Any thoughts? Anyway, wish me luck Fingers Crossed

I going for blackburn to beat derby @ 1.29

Blackburn recently are showing good form. They were winning to the 88th minute against imo best team in england.

Derby on the other hand are imo the worst team ever to grace the premier league.

I know theres a rivalry but i think that blackburn have enough quality to gain the win

also roque santa cruz anytime @ 1.90
over 2.5 @ 1.70

Rochdale v Shrewsbury

One of my friends plays for Rochdale and has informed me that they are resting half the team for the visit of Shrewsbury. They are more concentrating on the play-offs and are already guarenteed a 2nd leg at home so a win here isn't essential. Rochdale will still have some of their first choice players and shrewsbury aren't the best of sides but worth a bet on the draw or shrewsbury draw no result.

The form book goes right out the window on the last game of the season. I can see alot of draws happening here in league 1 an League 2, As Danny said alot of teams will be playing fringe players an managers will be giving players run outs, with not alot of motavation for teams not involved in either play off or relagation battles, Ive picked out a few matches i think will be draws for that reason

Northampton vs Tranmere
Walsall vs Hartlepool
Rotherham vs Barnet
Leyton Orient vs Bristol Rovers
Accrington vs Bury

Still got my eye on a few home wins tho....

Chesterfield vs Notts County - Chesterfield

Only Peterbrough has scored more home goals than Chesterfield, only Wrexham have a worse away record than Notts County. Im trying not to focus much on form but i fancy Chesterfield for this one on the basis Notts County havnt won an away game in 15 attempts and the number of goals Chesterfield have scored!

Chesterfield @ 1.8 Ladbrokes

Leeds vs Gillingham - Leeds

Again without really focusing to much on form, Gillingham have made me a tidy sum from betting against them when playing away over the back end of the season, Leeds will be abit fired up from not getting any of their points back, an a poor Gillingham side might well feel the sting from that!

Leeds @ 1.91 Bet365

Accrington v Bury looking very dodgy to me.

Bury odds shortening all the time and all sorts of "rumours" around.

What price at Kick-Off?

Even been removed by some bookies.

Portsmouth will have 2 eyes on Wembley. I expect Pompey may not turn up. Middlesbrough could still go down although unlikely. They will want to completely secure their premiership future. 1/1 with SkyBet is the best valuechecker price. A home win.

Northampton vs Tranmere

I would be wary of this choice fianna. Our manager - Ronnie Moore (Tranmere) - has stated his intention to go all out for the win in a bid to secure 8th place in the table. Might not sound much, but down here in the lower leagues the difference in final league position can be the difference between having any sort of sembelence of a transfer fund & having to sell the cream of your squad.

Furthermore, a positive result for Rovers is more than likely to boost the chances of the club offering Mr Moore a new contract (his current deal expires before the new season will start) & also the club's chances of having a favourable position in the possible takeover deal being touted.

Northampton have only hosted Tranmere 3 times since 2001, resulting in two Tranmere wins (1:3 in 2006, 0:4 in 2002) and 1 Northampton win (4:1 in 2001). The reverse fixture earlier this season ended 2:2.

Recent form is encouraging for Northampton, Last 6 games W2 D3 L1, the 2 wins were at home - albeit against Luton & Oldham. The loss & 3 draws were all away from home. Tranmere, on the other hand, have not won away since 29/01/2008 - a 2:0 victory at Elland Road Shocked Since that time, Tranmere's 7 away matches have seen 3 draws & 4 losses.

My heart (obviously) would like a Tranmere victory, but my head is saying that you have to give Northampton the advantage & I do have to say that 2.10 for the Northampton win is a great price.

Reading V Spurs

The reverse of this fixture at White Hart Lane has seen these two calsh twice this season, once in the league and once in the cup, both games were complete goal fests (6-4 & 2-2).

However, Reading are seriously struggling right now and can't seem to score, having failed to do so in the last 5 games, Spurs have no such worries scoring goals, the pressure is totally off Spurs where as Reading are under the most extreme pressure they could be, a situation where they look more like cracking than rising to it based on the last few weeks.

Spurs @3.25

Peterborough V Darlington

With evrything already decided in League 2, Promoted Peterborough will want to put on a show for their fans on the last day against a Darlington team with a Play Off spot secure, they will want to concentrate on that and wont be taking any risks in this game.

Peterborough @1.72

MK Dons v Morecambe

Same situation, champions MK Dons will be throwing a party today and want to put on an show for the fans, Morecambe have zero to play for and I can't see them spoiling the party.

Mk Dons @1.57

Accringtons manager has let the first team go ona stag do today for one of the players. Hence the shortening on Bury from 2/1 to evens. I still wont be touching it.

Peterbrough at 7/4 with -1 goal looks very good. They will want to go out with a bang in front of their home fans and Darlo are woeful.

Two lunchtime kick offs other tips will follow

West Ham +2 v Man United @ 1.92

Since Alan Curbishley has joined West Ham his favourite team to play against has been Man United, 3 matches played, 3 wins. I cant see them winning today but I cant see them losing by more than two goals either, as West Ham have not been given many beatings this season, the only real beatings I can remember was when they lost 4-0 three times in a row. The Hammers dont have anything to play for but they will be up for this one, they have not done badly away from home and I think they are more than capable of getting a goal. United will be a little bit nervy in my opinion, a 1-0 win will do for them today, any kind of win will do so I just cant see them going absolutley bonkers for a goal. West Ham will keep it tight and they will make it difficult for United

Celtic to beat Motherwell @ 1.53

Confidence at Celtic has changed so much in the last 2 or 3 weeks, after two great wins over Rangers, Celtic will be extremley confident heading in to this one. This is Celtics first away match since beating Motherwell at Fir Park 4-1 on the 13th of April. Celtic have won 7 of their last 10 away matches in all competitions with two defeats coming at Ibrox and the Nou Camp. Motherwell have gone 2 home matches without a win and have won just 2 of their last 6 at home which is not great form considering they are chasing an European place. Celtic have won 3 of their last 4 visits to Fir Park and I expect them to win today.

I've taken 3/1 at my local bookies on Bournemouth to win at Carlisle today.

Ok Ill try to explain Very Happy

Bournmouth need to win and hope Doncaster win at Cheltenhham to survive, Carlisle need to win and hope for the opposite result at Cheltenham along with Forest failing to win against Yeovil to get the 2nd promotion spot.

Although Carlisle have an excellent home record, they have won only once in their last 6 games and that was with an injury time winner, Bournemouth on the other hand are on fantastic run of form, winning their last 6 games on the bounce, including a win at Champions Swansea.

A quote from the Carlisle manager after the 3-0 defeat away to Millwall last time out: "There's a shortage of energy you need at this stage and a few are running on empty,"

Although this game could really go either way with so much to play for for both teams and Bournmouth not a cert by any means, I feel that with current form and the price available, its worth a punt, for those more cautious, you can still get 15/8 DNB online.

Bournmouth @3/1
