Real Betis v Valladolid
Valladolid have been poor throughout the season away from home and Betis should win here
These teams have been involved with a fair few games with over 2.5 over the course of the season
Betis win @ 13/10
Over 2.5 goals @ 11/10
Valencia vs Real Zaragoza
Zaragoza have been poor away and Valencia despite their nightmare of a season have still got many quality players
There has been over 2.5 goals in all of Valencias last 7 home games and theres no reason why there wont be goals here
Valencia win @ 11/10
Over 2.5 goals @ 17/20
Deportivo vs Levante
Deportivo have won their last 6 games at home and against the worst team in the league they should win comfortably
Deportivo have only conceded 3 in their last 7 but have scored many at home while Levantes defence is poor. There is a good chance that there will over 2.5 goals in this
Deportivo -1.25 Asian Handicap @ 17/20
Over 2.5 @ 4/5
Racing Santander v Sevilla
Racing have won 10 of 17 at home this season while Sevilla have won only 5 in 17 away. Sevilla have lost 3 in their last 7 away while Racing have won 4 in their last 7 at home. I reckon Racing can win this or at least draw
6 out of Sevillas last 7 games have had 3 goals or more and their last meeting yielded 5 goals
Racing @ 17/10
Over 2.5 Goals @ 7/10
Espanyol vs Athletico Madrid
Atletico away and Espanyol at home both have lost 4 in their last 7 and I think they will cancel each other out here with a slight chance of a home win
I think there will be at least three goals in this game as these teams have been involved in many games over 2 goals and their last 3 meetings have yielded 3 goals in each
Espanyol +0.25 Asian Handicap @ 43/40
Over 2.5 Goals @ evens
Murcia v Athletic Bilbao
Murcia are 2nd bottom and Bilbao have avoided defeat in their 4 of their last 7 while Murcias home form has been poor lately. I think it will be a draw in this as they should cancel each other out
Draw @ 11/5
Rec de Huelva v Villareal
Villareal have won 4 in their last 7 away while Recretive have only only lost 2 at home in their last 7. I think it will be close enough
I think that this game will have over 2 goals as recretiveo have scored 2 in each of their last 2 home games. While Villareal managed to get 2 against Barcelona in the Nou Camp and thus they are capable of scoring goals away
Villareal -0.25 Asian Handicap @ 54/47
Over 2.5 Goals @ evens
Mallorca v Osasuna
Mallorca are in good form as of late winning 3 on the trot and should beat lowly Osasuna at home
Osasuna have been involved in 2 scoreless draws in their last 7 away
Mallorca @ 23/20
Under 2.5 Goals @ 23/25
Getafe v Almeria
Getafe have gone through a rough spell but Almerias form has been extremely poor away and I think Getafe may break their duck here
Almeria have gone scoreless in 3 of their last 7 and I getafe have only managed 1 goal in their last 2 games and I think this will be low scoring
Gefafe @ 10/11
Under 2.5 goals @ 27/37 _________________ #3 Goals Competition April |

Jagiellonia Bialystok vs Legia Warsaw- Legia Warsaw
Legia are currently 2nd in the Polish Ekstraklasa with 2 games left to play, they are only sitting 1 point ahead of 3rd placed Grodzisk and 4th placed Lech Poznan, with Wisla Krakow already winning the league an taking the champions league spot Legia will see this as a game they would really wanta win, as only 2nd & 3rd place get the Uefa Cup spots.
Legia has drew 2 an won 2 of their last 4 away games an have a pretty tight defence with only 9 goals conceded when playing away an 15 conceded overall.
Bialystok has lost 7 on the trot and 4 of their last 5 at home, they got hammered in the last game they played 6-1 away at Lech Poznan.
Legia Warsaw @ evens Bet365
Brondby vs Viborg - Brondby -1.5
From Brondby's 15 home games they have won by 2 goals in 5 of them, while Viborg have lost 50% of their away games by 2 goals or more (7 from 14)
Brondby's last home game was a 3-0 win over Nordsjaelland while Viborg's last away game was a 5-3 defeat by Nordsjaelland
Viborg have only picked up points in 3 of their matchs on the road, 5 points with 1 win 2 draws, they have the worst away record in the league on all fronts , goals scored, goals conceded an points, I see brondby winning this one by the 2 goals!
Brondby -1.5 @ 1.92 Bet365 |

Frankfurt - Wolfsburg, Draw @ 3.45
Very difficult one to call, but that's why there are decent odds. Both sides form has been patchy and inconsistent. Neither team has much to play for either - technically they can both achieve a European place, but it's highly unlikely. The one thing that does stand out though is that their last 3 meetings have been draws.
Small stakes on this one - Draw |

Real Madrid v Barcelona
I can't see anything less than a win for Real as they pick up the trophy in style with a guard of honour against their rivals Barcelona. Having clinched the title at the weekend they now host the team who have failed to come close this season and are instaed battling for second place.
Real have won their last 4 games and are unbeaten in their last 6. They've also won 4 of their last 6 home games.
Barca on the other hand have an awful away record and have lost 3 of their last 6 away games only winning 1.
All in all I see Real wanting to win this too much as they put on a show for the crowd. Great odds and a value bet.
Actually looking at the odds I fancy a Lay of Barcelona is the best value and a maximum bet for me as I can't see Barcelona who have only won 4 out of 17 away games all season beating Real. 3.6 for them to win seems too low to me.
Bet Lay Barcelona |

Great shout there fairfranco. Just to put some prices in the frame for people, Bet365 currently (2.55pm BST) go with the following pricing of the match :
Double Chance : Real Madrid or Draw @ 1.30
Real Madrid +0.5 AH @ 1.34
If you fancy the DNB as opposed to Laying Barca :
Real Madrid DNB @ 1.57
Real Madrid +0 AH @ 1.65
Of course, the AH market can change rapidly but I'm tempted by the +0 AH at those prices. Then again, and without wanting to get hugely exotic with the winning margin, a number of the AH values do appeal here & definitely give the impression that Bet365 are favouring a Real Madrid win by 1 goal. This is possibly a reason why there's no "Winning Margin" sub market up yet, but gives added value to the Straight Handicap : Tie (Barcelona +1) result @ 3.60.
I'm a touch sceptical about the AGS market with this match, in a game involving two teams where goals can come from almost every outfield position the prices do look a little odd IMO. Ruud Van Nistelrooy AGS @ 1.66 is over 1pt shorter than the next best priced AGS - that being Eto'o & Henry both @ 2.75, perhaps unsurprising given the pricing bias towards Madrid. A slightly better shout could be to go with Raul @ 2.87 or Messi @ 3.00.
The one thing that stops me short of saying that I think they (Bet365) think it's going to end 1:0 to Real is the fact that the "Total Goals" & "Goal Line" markets are both in favour of of there being 3 or more goals scored in the match This could be a bit of a front however designed to confuse the punter. However, it could be worth looking towards Barca's scoring defenders for AGS bets - if we follow the trend of the pricing - with Puyol & Abidal standing out to me, both priced @ 15.00.
Real Madrid -0.25 AH @ 2.00
Straight Handicap : Tie (Barcelona +1) @ 3.60
Raul AGS @ 2.87
Puyol AGS @ 15.00 _________________ "There's no such thing as a grown-up. We get bigger, we get taller, we get older. But, for the most part, we're still a bunch of kids, running around the playground, trying desperately to fit in." |

Hi NaFianna
Im trying to get a value double tonight. Based on your comments on Legia Warsaw and Brondy would you recommend a double on both.
Also just a word of caution on Real Madrid V Barcelona. Barcelona will want to put on a show and ruin the show for Madrid. Barcelona in a draw no bet is 6/5 with PaddyPower. |

Messi to score first E/W @ 13/2 Bet365. Main goal threat for barca who will take the game to real with nothing to lose. Will want this result for the fans after poor season. Messi takes pens at min too and with real always leaky at the back looks a good value bet to me. |

I have a strong fancy for over 2.5 goals tonight in the Real Madrid v Barca game. Real have the best home record in La Liga, against Barca who have been a mixed bag away from home, winning only 4 all season. Madrid also average in excess of 2.5 goals per game at home this season, scoring 44 goals in a 15-2-0 record, whilst conceding just 15. Barca have goals in them and won't want to go without a whimper after Real won the title last weekend.
Over 2.5 goals @ about 8/11
Other bet - Real Madrid win @ about 5/4 |

two tips to kick me off others will follow
FC Midtjylland to beat Randers FC @ 1.55
FC Midtjylland have had a very good season a win tonight will enhance their chances of getting the 2nd place and playing in the UEFA Cup next season. Midtjylland are unbeaten at home in the Superligaen this season, winning 10 and drawing 4. They have drawn their last 2 home matches but they have a lot more riding on this than Randers who are safe and will have to settle for mid table mediocrity this season. Randers have lost 5 of their last 7 away matches and failed to win in 8 on the road, they are managed by Colin Todd who is a good Manager and will have his players up for this one but Midtylland are far better and are strong at home. The home side have won their last 6 home matches with Randers and it may well be seventh heaven tonight.
Groclin to beat Wisla Krakow @ 2.29
There is a lot more riding on this match for the home side than the away side and I expect the outcome to be a home win. Groclin are very strong at home and have been beaten just once in 14 home league matches this season, conceding just 6 goals, joint top with tonights opponents and Legia Warsaw. Groclin are 3rd at the moment which will let them play in the Intertoto next season but are only a point behind Legia in 2nd and that has to be an incentive for them. Groclin have not conceded in 8 home matches, winning 7 of those 8 matches. Wisla were beaten by rivals Legia in their last away match and they didnt play very well, I think this will be another tough match for them and Groclin will be up for it more because Wisla have hammered the league this season. _________________ Read my Boxing blogs, previews of fights happening all over the World. Bayer Leverkusen to beat Hertha Berlin @ 1.55
Bayer were disappointed to have dropped two points against Wolfsburg in their last home match but they know how to get going again and against a Hertha team with nothing to play for they should. Bayer have lost just 2 home league matches this season and they are a difficult side to play against if on top form. Hertha are safe in mid table and with just 2 away wins in the league this season I cant see them getting anything from this one as Bayer will be up for it and they know they need a win. Bayer have won the last 4 meetings between the two including a 3-0 win in Berlin back in December.
Arminia Bielefeld +1.25 v Bayern Munich @ 2.02
Arminia Bielefeld are 3 points off 16th heading in to this one but a win for Duisburg and a loss for them and a Duisburg win would send them back in to the dreaded relegation spot because of goal difference, so Arminia need a point or a very unlikley win tonight. Bayern have wrapped up the title and this is their first game since they have accomplished that and I am sure Bielefeld will be there to spoil the party and how many times have we seen that happen in football. Arminia have won just once away from home in the Bundesliga this season but their away form is not bad heading in to this one, losing just 1 of their last 5 on the road and that included a point at Hamburg who have the 2nd best home defence in the league. Another good stat for the +1.25 backers is that Arminia have won or lost by the odd goal in their last 9 meetings with Bayern or in other words Bayern have not defied tonights handicap in 9 matches which has to be a good thing. Bielefeld need a point or more and they may be tough to break down.
Valencia to beat Zaragoza @ 2.1
Both of these teams are still in big trouble but I see Valencia getting themselves out of trouble with the squad they have and a win today would be vital for the cause. Valencia were hammered 6-0 by Barca on Sunday and there needs to be a reaction now, performances like that are completley unacceptable and I think their chances of staying up are relying on this one, win and they will be pretty much safe but lose they could very well go down. The good thing is Valencia have won their last 2 home matches scoring 3 goals in both of them and they have won 2 of their last 3 matches against Zaragoza. The away side have won just 1 of their 17 away league matches this season and although they have drawn their last 2 away matches, they were against Espanyol and Getafe 2 teams with nothing to play for and to be honest I cant see any real creativity in the Zaragoza side. No team is too good to go down but Valencia have enough class to get themselves out of this dogfight at the bottom.
Recreativo to beat Villareal @ 3
This is a very big game for Recreativo as they are 17th in the Primera at the moment and only goal difference is keeping them out of relegation, so a win is important for them tonight. Huelva are not in bad form at home to be honest, they are unbeaten in their last 4 home matches and did hold Barcelona to a 2-2 draw in the unbeaten run. They have the ability to score plenty of goals and are one of the highest home scorers in the bottom half of the league. Villareal will be in the Champions League next season, that is certain but I am sure they will want to be in the group stages although a loss wouldnt hurt as much as it would for the home side. Recreativo have won their last 3 home matches against Villareal including a 1-0 win over them in the Copa Del Rey back in January and they did hold them to a 1-1 draw at the El Madrigal back in December, so they know they can compete with this Villareal side.
Djurgarden to beat Hammarby @ 2.29
Djurgarden are unbeaten in their 4 home league matches this season, winning 2 and drawing 2. They do make things hard for themselves at times and that is one slight reservation I have about them but Hammarby have faced a tough start on the road this season and I am not confident about their chances. In their last away match against lower league opposition they went to Extra Time winning 6-4 in the end, they have lost 3 of their 4 away matches in the league this season and recent history shows that an away match against Djurgarden is of their liking. Djurgarden are unbeaten in 8 home matches against Hammarby winning 6 of those 8 matches and I am confident they can get the win tonight.
Brondby to beat Viborg @ 1.3
Brondby have picked up in 2008 and if they would have played like this in 2007 then they would be much higher in the Superligaen. Brondby have won 8 of their last 10 home matches and they will be very confident of continuing their good home form. Viborg have won just once away from home this season and have lost 3 of their last 4 on the road, conceding 5 in their last away match. Brondby have won 8 straight home matches against Viborg and they should win tonight.
Real Madrid to beat Barcelona @ 2.4
Real have won 3 straight home matches and they will take great confidence after staging a great comeback from 1-0 down to win 2-1 against Osasuna and win the title. Even though there is nothing on this match for Real they will want to win and they would love to see Barca start their Champions League campaign in the 3rd qualifying round. Barca have won just 1 of their last 8 away matches in all competitions and in that run there has been 5 defeats. They will also be up for it and got a great 6-0 win over Valencia on Sunday but Real are strong at the back and they are getting goals from all over the pitch. Real are 4 matches unbeaten against their great rival and have won 2 of those matches and I see them winning tonight. _________________ Read my Boxing blogs, previews of fights happening all over the World. I agree that Djurgarden should win this one tonight simply because they are picking up better results and scoring more goals than Hammarby, but this is not strictly a home game for Djurgarden as the Stockholm Derbies are played at Rasunda, which is a neutral ground for both teams. |
