Eircom League
Drogheda Utd v UCD
In the last ten meetings between these two teams Drogheda have won 6 and only lost two of them. UCD are stuck second from bottom in the league. If defending champions Drogheda have any asperation for the season the should be beating team like UCD. UCD have won only once away this season and its hard to see past a hom victory,
Drogheda Utd 8/13 |

i agree ronnie but just to be on the safe side im covering the draw on Betfair at 16/5 as im not 100 percent confident with the way drogs are playing at the moment and this could potentially be a draw, also giving that UCD have had 4 draws out there last 6 away games and two of them being against sligo and st patricks then a draw is not out of UCD'S reach!
COVER THE DRAW JUST TO BE SURE! |

July 2008
19:45 Cork City v Galway United
Cork City - Cork City (Half Time/Full Time) @ 1.91
Rather than play the -1.25 handicap im going play a ht/ft on cork here. Right now their really in form and as well as resurgence in the league they also won midweek in drogheda. Mooney is on fire for cork right now and i would see galways defence sturggling to contain him. In most of its wins cork have been leading at half time. Galway meanwhile also fall behind early which makes the ht/ft a decent bet at 10/11.
19:45 Drogheda United v UCD
Draw @ 3.75
Draw looks a bit of value for me here. The students have drawn half their away games and seem play better on their road trips or at least as well as they do at home. Drogheda meanwhile have been hit by injuries, and havnt won in their last 3 homes and lost to cork in cup at home midweek. UCD will keep this close, with connor and obrien not sure to be recovered drogheda will also miss, Graham Gartland Richie Baker ,while Eamon Zayed is doubtful.
20:00 Shamrock Rovers v Cobh Ramblers
Draw @ 4
its not all that simple here, cobh beat rovers 2-0 in cork, but shamrock did get win last week but before that they have hardly been rocks at home. _________________ Check out my Euro 2008 preview

i fancy cork city to win tonight too....
in addition to that,
Ireland Division 1
Waterford United vs Shelbourne pays 2.9 at Betfair.
Limerick 37 vs Kildare pays 4.9 at Betfair. I think x2 is a safer option here. |
