Well i can not make more details nor enter in deep explanations cause my system is protected and SECRET

but what you should know it is not a GUESS , it is based on StATISTICS, and I have backtested the data (statistics) for a whole season, further more it was no easy task that i checked and backtested a wide data range from 2000 to 2008, with good results

As it's a friendly then I'd avoid it like the plague as you wont know what the managers have in mind as you could have half the team subbed in the 2nd half with reserves or something like that and the players more than likely wont be caring too much either.

On another note, how many people who make tips in here actually put their own money on them? I personally have money on every tip I make in the forum ( not all tips in the comp though ). The reason I ask is I wouldn't be willing to bet on someones tip if they weren't willing to themselves.

I will be honest I dont place any money on my tips because I am not a serious betting man, I say that in my public profile. But what I do think I have is a lot of sporting knowledge especially of European football and if people want to place bets on my opinion then I would be glad and I would hope for a winner.

I fancy a draw in the Austrian game, first match of the season, two pretty evenly matched sides on paper tonight. Rapid are the reigning champions and do have the better known players but Sturm Graz are the home side and did play in the Intertoto on Saturday.

I suggest that people make own decisions when betting. It´s good to have here other peoples opinions, but when it´s about your money, you should make own decisions how to invest them. Sometimes you could find here very good information that can affect your decision, so that is why I use to visit here often Smile

If i post a tip i have my money down on it for the simple reason that if i didn't then i would be raging if it won! lol

I agree tho if some1 is just firing out random tips and not stickin some money down then I wouldn't feel too confident in backing them myself although I generally use this forum to see if anyone has picked the same tip as myself and what their reasons are behind picking it. Helps me make a more informed decision i suppose.

as for this sturm graz match i fancy rapid vienna to win 2-0, sturm graz won 2-0 at the weekend there in the intertoto and looked well for it but they were playing a side with nowhere near the quality that rapid vienna have. these 2 teams played 4 times last season with 2 wins to each

rapid vienna taking the last when they really got into their stride in the season. The champions will be looking to make a good start to the season here and maintain their grasp on the title and I feel that they'll have just a little too much class for sturm graz so i'll be going £20 on rapid vienna and £5 on 0-2 scoreline out of my PaddyPower kitty Fingers Crossed

I actually find betting on pre-season friendlies quite profitable. Especially with a "big" team playing an amateur side. It's a sure winner. Odds are short, but it's still money, and as long as I don't lose, I'm happy to keep doing this. Recent winners include Hertha Berlin easy 5:0 win over SV Thal, B.Leverkusen win over SV Darmstadt 98. Tonight going with Schalke to beat SpVgg Erkenschwick.

Last summer made a big profit with Man Utd's pre-season tour in Asia and Liverpool's friendlies vs lower league sides like Crewe.

Thanks for the honesty folks, I am not intending to start a monetary debate as that should be left out of here and is somewhat irrelevant as people have varying degrees of wealth. I am just satisfying my own curiosty really.
