Just thought it would be interesting to start a thread on teams to get promoted what are peoples fancies for promotion in the coca cola leagues and who would you have in a treble?

I strongly fancy crystal palace to get promoted this season warnock changed their season around last season and with new signings and youngesters coming through they could be the ones to beat

any opinions?

My two picks were Birmingham and Leeds to win their respective divisions.

Coventry look a good outside bet for promotion with the signing of Eastwood and assuming they sign Morrison. Also, Wolves might be quite strong.

Don't really have a clue about the other divisions.

I dont think you can look past Birmingham to return to the Prem.

Watford are strong, but last seasons form in the 2nd half of the season showed otherwise...

Other outsiders could include Wolves, Sheff. Utd, Ipswich and Reading.

I dont reckon QPR will be able to this season. The fans at Loftus Road have very high expectations now, and will be under constant pressure to peform. I doubt that Bristol City will be able to repeat their brilliant first season in the Championship.

Watch out for Derby and Nottingham Forest as well from the Championship.

In League 1- Leeds, Southend and Leicester dont look too bad.

I think Birmingham have the be the obvious choices for the Championship, Strongest squad, good manager, still the same basic squad as last season.

Derby and Palace would be my fancies to join them.

Early fancy from the Championship is Derby, Paul Jewellio and Hutchings have been there done that, got the t-shirt in the Championship and they have signed some very good players up to date this summer.

Fancy Plymouth as a big outsider, they are quite solid at home pretty much every season and Paul Sturrock is a manager who has been largely succesful in the lower leagues. Also Swansea are a team to look out for, always one team that has come up gives it a fair crack of the whip and Martinez is a talented young manager who plays attacking football and in Jason Scotland they have a proven scorer.

I think Burnley have recruited very very well so far and could be the suprise package at 66/1. Yes they have lost Kyle Laffety but £3m was a fair price and they have strengthed their midfield with the signing of impressive championship performer Chris Eagles. Martin Paterson who shone for Scunny last year scoring 13 times will love the supply and he can replace Laffety up front. The signing of Peru international Diego Penny could prove to be inspired and he is very highly rated by managed Owen Coyle. One or two more astute signings at they could very well suprise.

Darlington & Gillingham in the lower leagues, both had cash. Darlington just about ran out of steam last year, should kick on this time.
