|
|
I really hope the moderators will allow this string as the Millionaire Coupon is my favourite bet of the weekend, or should I say the challenge of getting the first ten right is something I really enjoy having a go at. I would love to read other peoples predictions and how much they have manged to win from it.
To win the million is virtually impossible but I'm sure it has been won.
I started completing this coupon with Ladbrokes last season as I feel it gives me more pleasure than the lottery and when I have lost I can see where I have lost it.
Up to date I have managed to predict the first five correct on 4 occasions. Of course over the season I have made a slight loss.
On 2 occasions I have managed to predict the second five correct but got 1 wrong in the first five if that makes sense. On both occasions would have paid nearly £3,000. This is one reason I am determined to carry on.
I am more than willing to share my predictions each Saturday morning if others are willing to do the same. Remember I am really after the first ten....anything else would be a bonus.... a massive bonus of course lol. |

It is still yet to be won !
One man had the first 15 and only Port Vale let him down for the million ! And you might remember a player called Tony Dining missing a 89th minute penalty to cost him mega-bucks !!
He even came out out after the game after he heard about the punter and said "he would have tried harder if he had knwon"
Good Luck in becoming the first !! |

I did it from time to time as a fun bet by perming 8 lines through the first 5 to try to ensure £10 at least back,
But the day i was paid £8.50 when you are guaranteed a tenner for the first 5 right was the day i stopped doing it....... _________________ NEW! Yard Targets, - Click here

Thanks for your reply and info Proudpoolie. I dont ever expect to win the million but I really feel I am so close to getting the first ten and the profits from that speak for itself. I wonder what that man thinks of Port Vale now lol.
I see it very much as a challenge to get first ten and go from there.
Man O Bong, I dont understand at all why you didnt get your £10 when it is guaranteed. I do know they place the bet proportionately and maybe that had something to do with it because it was permed. Even though, if they say £10 for first 5 they should pay it. Thanks for letting us know. |

Hi there,
I do this bet every week also along with my main bet. Its €2 an worth a go! I aim for the 1st ten correct also, no luck yet...the most I got was 9 out of the 1st 10 correct...I've got the 1st five a few times. This will be
the 3rd season i'll be trying it. Would love to get it up once for a nice pay out Maybe we could work together & try an crack it... |

Thanks to John davies and ICollins for replies.
That must have been an awful feeling John Davies to be so close and yet so far away, but's also good evidence that to get the big win is very possible. Thanks for sharing and good luck this season.
For many people this is a fun bet and I also see it as that way but a winnable one with some luck too. If you have a £2 entry each week, you only need to win 5 times on the first five to make a profit over the season.
Ladbrokes claim to have made the first five as easy as ever but there is always at least one which is incredibly difficult to call. Sharing our opinions is a great idea and lets see if one of us can get at least the first ten this season.
I am quite happy to share my predictions each Saturday morning after I have seen the latest team news/injuries etc. and we will see where we can go from there. |

For Dorrian3
You should find the Millionaire Coupon amongs all the special weekend football coupons. It is usually bright yellow with the title Millionaire in large letters across the top. If you cant find it just ask the staff for a millionaire coupon. They are usually available Wednesdays onwards. |

This is a complete and utter MUGS bet ; that is why the bookies marketing department thinks them up - they are a big moneyspinner for the firm and I would not entertain wasting my cash on one ; that is just my personal opinion but as you seem to enjoy the bet I wish you every success as I would love to see anybody hit the jackpot with them. Nothing wrong with this a fun bet for £2
However a lot of people have said they are just after the 1st 10 - in that case, just put the 1st 10 in a normal 2acca - payout will be miles bigger! _________________ Paul Gascoigne, Gascoigne, he's done his country proud, so sing his name out loud |

| I have saw the profit margins that firms make on ' sections list ' type bets and that is why bookmakers love taking them ; they simply want to accept wagers that have little chance of success. Sure - from time to time you will hear of a big winner but in the long term / over a season the major companies make many millions from those chasing rainbows ! |
