Just the one small punt today, with internaionals going on there isn't much to choose from but I feel this has to be my best pick of the day from the Italian Serie B.
14:00 Rimini v Modena
Rimini-0.75 (Asian Handicap) @ 1.83 Canbet
Although they didn't play brilliantly, Rimini managed a draw in their first league game last week against Parma, a team which you would expect is good enough for promotion this season. Modena lost to AlbinoLeffe at their Braglia stadium in their game and they weren't convincing at all and looked a bit shaky at the back. Also Rimini generally have a good start to the season so IMO they should be able to take the points here. _________________ To Dare is To Do |

torquay should run away with this game gonna do a single bet on them and gonna do over 2.5 goals and also sills first goal
the other game is tricky grays are playing terrible and cant score but they must be due a good game and kidderminster let in lots away from home
gonna do grays single, over 2.5 goals and kedwell first goal |

Id do Grays to win by the 1 goal to 0.
going around the 8 mark.
Kiddie scores goals for fun at times it seems, gonna fire a blank at some stage. |

Two games that have stood out for me today are..
Cowdenbeath v Airdrie
Houston v Kansas
A double of Houston and Airdrie go for odds of around 1.83.
Airdrie are a league above and have won the past 3 meetings against cowdenbeath, 2 of them coming this year. The only worry i would have is if they put a weak team out. If not then i expect them to make it 3 wins this year.
Houston are at the top of the Western conference, played 11 at home and only lost one scorign 22 goals in the process.
Kansas have only won one game away this season out of 11, 5 being draws, and conceded 24. There's been a few draws between these teams, the last time they met in April '08 was 0-0.
Houston have a very busy schedule and have quite a few players out injured and on international duty. http://houston.mlsnet.com/news/team_news.jsp?ymd=20080906&content_id=186056&vkey=news_hou&fext=.jsp&team=t200
Due to the link above i think i will go for a double and a then a single on Airdrie |

torquay fan here, we've been struggling so far this season but the last 3 games have shown a slight improvement in technique and workload.
tim sills has been dropped and a promising youngster elliot benyon has come in to side, while he's a bit lightweight i feel that hes the most likely first goalscorer here today. my longshot would be a goal from midfield by lee mansell.
i've backed both and also torquay to win by more than two goals
the season (re)starts today |
